Sometimes, God proves His love to us by what He’s not letting us have. It doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. We just have to spend a little more time in the waiting room: growing, developing, getting experience, learning to trust Him, learning to forgive, learning to be good to those that have wronged us, being mature enough to wait with a good attitude. The sooner we pass these tests, the sooner God will release the things that belong to us.

Dili lang kaayo ta maoverwhelmed sa atong current situation. All our feelings or responses are valid. You can be in your highest or lowest point. Pero friendly reminder lang, chill. Whatever is happening now, part ra ni sa whole story. It could be a paragraph, a page, or a chapter of your life. So take a moment to ponder. Celebrate. Grieve. Whatever it is. Ayaw i-overload imong kaugalingon sa mga butang. Don’t let yourself be drowned by the temporariness of life. Move on. Turn to the next page and complete the book of your life’s story.

How to love a man.

UNDERSTAND. He will never be perfect. At some point he will be inconsistent. Sometimes he will be impatient. Sometimes it will be hard for him to handle your mood swings. He gets angry too. His mood changes as well.

FREEDOM. Give him the freedom to do the things that he likes. Do not box him. Do not choke him in the neck. The truth is, if he really loves you, he will never do things that will hurt you. He has a life to live so do not take that away from him. You are not his world. You are just a part of it.

RECIPROCATE. Make efforts for him too. Ask him how his day went. Ask him what went wrong. Love him hard as well. Be patient with him too.

RESPECT. You have to respect his choices and decisions. Give him respect that he deserves.

AFFECTION. Show him that you care. Wrap him with warm hugs. Show to him that you are always there for him.

ATTENTION. Like you, he needs your attention too. He needs reassurance as well that he is the only one for you. Do not give him reasons to doubt you.

There will never be a perfect man. At some point, you will get disappointed and upset because he did not become the man you expect him to be. But because you love him you accept every bits of him. If he is worth the risk, keep him.

THIS IS A VERSE EVERY PASTOR AND CHRISTIAN SHOULD TAKE TO HEART. There is no going around this one:

"Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen." 1 JOHN 4:20

I encourage so-called Theologians to stop muddying the Word of God to make it say something else. The verse is clear enough.

If we say we love God, we must love one another.

Division is NOT love.

Competing with each other is NOT love.

Gossiping each other is NOT love.

Putting down each other is NOT love.

Envying each other is NOT love.

Deceiving each other is NOT love.

Using, Abusing and Misusing each other is NOT love.

Fighting against each other is NOT love.

Unforgiveness is NOT love.

Tolerating the sins of each other is NOT love.

Let us love one another if we truly love God.

Dear God,

Even when it’s hard and sometimes overwhelming. With all the deadlines that I have to finish, the pressure, and the difficult people I have to deal with.

I thank You God.

For this career that I have — for my source of income.
Thank You for blessing me so I can provide for my family and that I may bless others too.

Use me as Salt and Light so I could lead others to You.
You have placed me here for a reason, may I always bring glory to You.

May I desire only to please You, You are the Master in everything I do.
Teach me how to be patient and kind, and to always carry on a big smile.

Forgive me for the times I overlook this blessing that came from You.
This career I only once dreamt of is in my hands because of You.

So instead of complaining, I will be filled with thanksgiving.
