𝗗𝗛𝗦 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

Dalapitan High School (DHS) successfully held its annual Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Day on February 13, 2026, drawing a massive crowd of parents, faculty members, and local leaders. The day-long event, showcased the school’s vibrant culture and the strong ties between the institution and the community it serves.

The festivities commenced early in the morning with a lively parade along the national highway. Led by the high-spirited Dalapitan High School Drum and Lyre Corps, the procession served as a public invitation to the day's events. Following the parade, an energetic intermission number by the corps officially opened the program, earning a standing ovation from the assembled parents and students.

The morning session featured a keynote address from Hon. Victorio Fuerte, who spoke passionately about the evolving role of the PTA in the modern educational landscape, highlighting the vital role of parent-teacher collaboration in shaping the future of students.

A highlight of the morning was the "Minute of Gratitude," a touching segment where students personally honored their parents. In a display of respect and love, learners presented simple yet meaningful tokens, including handwritten letters, flowers, and chocolates. This tradition continues to be a cornerstone of DHS PTA Day, reinforcing the values of gratitude and family within the student body.

The spirit of community was further felt during the room-based lunch, where families and teachers shared meals and engaged in casual discussions about student progress and school improvements. To add to the excitement, multiple raffle draws were held throughout the day, providing lucky winners with various prizes and keeping the energy high.

The celebration reached its peak in the afternoon with the much-anticipated Coronation of Ginang ng PTA 2026. Ginang Ebcede Salas was officially crowned, recognized for her exceptional poise and her tireless support to school projects. Vice Mayor Gigi Catamco joined and graced the coronation, expressing her support for educational initiatives and the strengthening of parent-teacher partnerships.

The 2026 PTA Day concluded on a high note, leaving parents and teachers with a renewed sense of purpose. As Dalapitan High School looks toward the future, the event stands as a powerful reminder that when parents and teachers work together, the entire community thrives.

𝗠𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗞𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗢 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗡?

Ang pagpili ng isang tamang manglilingkod sa eleksyon ay hindi lamang pagboto ngunit ito ay karapatan ng bawat mag-aaral sa pagpili ng tapat na manglingkod, responsableng pinuno at may kakayahang mangasiwa sa kanilang nasasakupan. Ngunit bakit nga ba may nananalo at natatalo?

May basehan ang mga botante sa pagpili ng tamang manglilingkod sa organisasyon. Hindi sa adbokasya, hindi sa may kakayahang mangasiwa, at hindi sa may kayang mapaglingkuran ang kanilang nasasakupan. Kundi, nakabase ang mga tao kung sikat o kilala ang isang taong tumatakbo.

Maraming nais na mamuno na magagaling, tapat, at may paninindigan ngunit dahil sa kakulangan ng kanilang kasikatan ay hindi sila nananalo. May mga tumatakbo rin na sikat, responsable, at kayang mamuno ngunit walang sapat na kagamitan upang bilhin ang boto ng mga nasasakupan. Iyan ang katotohanan ngunit nakabubuti kaya sa kinabukasan natin?

Sa paparating na eleksyon ng Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) ay matuto ang lahat sa pagpili ng karapat-dapat. Huwag bumase sa kasikatan. Gamitin ang kakayahan bilang isang mamboboto may kakayahang mangasiwa.

Dapat na tayo ay magka-isa at magtulungan upang ang bawat boto ay katumbas ng ating kinabukasan at ito ay kapangyarihan at karapatan na dapat panghawakan. Huwag sayangin sa hindi dapat at hindi tapat.

𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Dalapitan High School hosted the Municipal English Festival of Talents on January 26, 2026, turning its campus into a lively venue for students across the Municipality of Matalam to showcase their skills in storytelling, analysis, writing, advocacy, and performance. The event was not only a competition but also a celebration of the English language as a tool for creativity, communication, and critical thinking.

The highlight of the competition was the victory of Grade 12’s bet, Beatrice Pacete, who emerged as the champion in the Immersive Reading Quiz Bee. Her outstanding performance earned her the honor of advancing to the Division Level, where she will represent not only Dalapitan High School but also the entire municipality of Matalam.

The festival concluded with pride and celebration, as Dalapitan High School recognized the efforts of all its participants. Their achievements reflect the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence in English and inspiring students to reach greater heights. With Bea Pacete set to compete at the Division level, the school community looks forward to continuing its tradition of success and showcasing the talents of its learners on a larger stage.

𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗜𝗗𝗬𝗢𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗬𝗔, 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗬 𝗡𝗔 𝗜𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗢𝗦 𝗦𝗔 𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗡 𝗛𝗦

Matagumpay na isinagawa ang Pambayang Patimpalak sa Filipino na “Bidyokasya” ngayong ika-20 ng Enero 2026 sa Dalapitan High School, na dinaluhan at nilahukan ng 14 na paaralan mula sa munisipalidad ng Matalam. Ang aktibidad ay bahagi ng mga programang pangwika na naglalayong paigtingin ang paggamit at pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino sa pamamagitan ng paggawa ng bidyo na may makabuluhang mensahe.

Ang nasabing patimpalak at dinaluhan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o mula sa iba't ibang pampublikong paaralan sa Matalam. Kabilang sa mga lumahok ay mula sa paaralan ng Dalapitan high school, Matalam High School, Matalam Linao National High School, Marbel High School, Sta. Maria High School, Kibia High School, Salvacion High School, Tamped High School, at Latagan High School, kasama ang iba pang paaralan sa munisipalidad. Ipinakita ng bawat kalahok ang kanilang kakayahan sa malikhaing pagbuo ng bidyo na gumagamit ng wikang Filipino upang maipahayag ang mga napapanahong isyu, kulturang Pilipino, at karanasan ng kabataang mag-aaral. Sa pamamagitan ng “Bidyokasya,” nabigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga mag-aaral na pagsamahin ang sining, teknolohiya, at wika.

Sa kabuuan, naging matagumpay ang nasabing patimpalak at inaasahang magsisilbing modelo ito ng mga programang pang-akademiko at pangkultura na maaaring isulong sa antas-dibisyon upang higit pang mapalawak ang adbokasiya sa wika at sining.

𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗔 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆

In celebration of the Paskuhan sa Dalapitan 2025, various competitions have been participated by all of the students and teachers who worked together aiming to win and bring pride to their respective classrooms and grade levels.

Activities such as the making of Giant Christmas Tree for all grade levels where students constructed 8-feet tall Christmas Trees with the guidance of their advisers by using recyclable materials and found objects and the Christmas Classroom Ambience where students needed to decorate their classroom in whatever theme they want that will elicit the presence of Christmas once you entered.

X-mas Fashion Icon where each section selected a representative that modelled their own Christmas-Themed Costumes and the highlight of all the activities is the Color Fun Run, where students, teachers, and outsiders alike participated in the running competition that supports fitness and charity.

In the Giant Christmas Tree event, the Grade 11 department successfully claimed the 1st Place with their blue-themed Christmas Tree filled with decorations. The 2nd Place was given to the Grade 12 department with their unique bright red Christmas Tree with a giant yellow star that grabs the attention of everyone passing by. Meanwhile, the 3rd Place is taken by the Grade 9 department with their colorful Christmas Tree made from mosquito nets giving it a clean aura.

While in the Christmas Classroom Ambience, the judges proclaimed the ABM 12 as the winner with their Christmas Candy Land Themed classroom adorned with cupcakes, chocolates, and sweets as stickers, also having a motivational corner and delicious decorations. The 2nd Place was awarded to Grade 11 BPP with their blue themed classroom and various designs. While the 3rd Place is taken by the Grade 11 Humss with their impressive wallpaper and DIY designs.

In the X-mas Fashion Icon for the female category the Grade 12 Humss caught the 1st Place, 2nd Place goes to Grade 10-C, and for the 3rd Place the Grade 11 BPP claims it. For the male category, the 1st Place goes to Grade 11 Humss, 2nd to the Grade 12 BPP, and 3rd for the Grade 8-C.

And for the Color Fun Run the fastest student to arrive at the finish line is a grade 12 Smaw student Jhun Carl Longno and for the teacher-outsider category, an officer from the BFP grabs the finish line banner. All participants showed their commitment in finishing the race making it memorable and enjoyable especially because the SK Officials from different Barangays also showed their support and effort in making the event possible.

These activities showcased the creativeness and teamwork of all students to ensure that the spirit of Christmas will continue to spread among their peers. Rejoicing for another year accomplished as students greet everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

𝗗𝗛𝗦 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗼𝘀 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗮-𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Paskuhan sa Dalapitan High School 2025, matagumpay na isinagawa ang kauna-unahang Color Fun Run na pinangunahan ng Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG). Dinaluhan ito ng mahigit 300 kalahok na binubuo ng mga estudyante, g**o, at mga outsiders na nagnanais maranasan ito.

Nagsimula ang aktibidad ika-5 ng umaga sa pamamagitan ng stretching at paghahanda ng mga kalahok, bago opisyal na sinimulan ang takbuhan alas 5:30 ng umaga. Tinahak ng mga kalahok ang rutang mula Dalapitan High School hanggang Kalye Sinag sa Barangay New Pandan.

Sa bawat istasyon ay may inihandang mga gawain kung saan binuhusan ng makukulay na tubig ang mga tumatakbo, dahilan upang maging mas masaya at kakaiba ang takbuhan. Bilang patunay ng pagdaan sa bawat istasyon, binigyan din ng color yarn ang mga lumahok na sumisimbolo sa kanilang aktibong pakikisama.

Sa pagtatapos ng fun run ay sinalubong ang mga kalahok ng mga bombero para sa libreng paligo, na nagdulot ng tuwa at saya sa lahat. Inihanda rin ang masustansyang almusal na lugaw, mainit na tsokolate, at pandesal na pinagtulungang inihanda ng SSLG at ng Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Dalapitan at Barangay New Pandan.

Naging posible at matagumpay na aktibidad sa tulong ng Barangay Dalapitan, Barangay New Pandan, at ng kani-kanilang Sangguniang Kabataan, na nagpakita ng matibay na ugnayan ng paaralan at komunidad.

Ang kauna-unahang Color Fun Run ng Dalapitan High School ay naging simbolo ng pagkakaisa, kasiyahan, at diwa ng Kapaskuhan na nagbigay kulay sa Paskuhan sa DHS 2025.

𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗙𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗥𝗔𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Softball Angels, led by team captain Angel Mie Jordan, soared to victory after clinching a hard-fought 6–4 win that earned them a spot in the Schools Regional Athletic Association (SRAA) 2026. Cheers filled the field as the final out was made, marking the reward of months of discipline, teamwork, and determination.

The game remained intense from start to finish, with both teams battling inning after inning. Despite strong resistance from their opponents, the Softball Angels stayed composed, delivering timely hits and solid defense when it mattered most. A crucial scoring moment in the later innings proved decisive, shifting momentum in their favor and sealing the lead.

At the heart of the triumph was Captain Angel Mie Jordan, whose leadership inspired confidence and unity across the team. With their eyes now set on SRAA 2026, the Softball Angels proved they are ready to take on greater challenges, carrying pride, passion, and hope as they advance to the regional stage. 🥎🏆
