On October 13, 2025, DHS participated in the annual Division Training Workshop arranged by SDO Cotabato in preparation for the upcoming Division Schools Pres Conference 2025 held at Matalam Central Elementary School for campus journalists to enhance their skills in writing.

DHS showcased their writing abilities and creativity in the said event as two campus journalists brought recognition and honor through their perseverance.

Rezzette P. Briones earned 2nd place for photojournalism Filipino proving that each photo contains meaningful experiences while Raigilyn Siminig earned 5th place for Editorial Writing Filipino.

The training was participated by various schools within the division. The workshop covered different types of journalism categories, including News writing, Editorial writing, Feature writing, Sports writing, Sci-tech, photojournalism, cartooning, copy reading and headline writing.

Through the said training, campus journalists developed their talents in writing articles that served as an opportunity to enhance their skills for the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference ( DSPC) 2025.

Upang mapaghandaan ang nalalapit na Division Training Workshop on Campus Journalism, nag-organisa ng isang Campus Journalism Meeting ang "The Dreamcatcher" ang opisyal na organisasyon para sa pamamahayag ng DHS na dinaluhan ng mga school paper adviser, coaches, at mga piling mag-aaral na mamamahayag ng DHS. Layunin ng pagpupulong na pag-usapan ang mga mahahalagang detalye, iskedyul, at paghahanda ng mga kalahok para sa nalalapit na pagsasanay at kompetisyon sa dibisyon.

Pinangunahan ng mga coaches ang talakayan kung saan itinalaga ang mga estudyante sa mga kategoryang lalahukan tulad ng news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, column writing, sci-tech, photojournalism, sports writing, copyreading, at cartooning. Pagkaraan ay ipinakilala rin kung sino-sino ang mga g**ong gagabay sa kanila. Nagbahagi rin ng mga mahahalagang paalala at teknik ang mga tagapayo upang mapabuti ang kakayahan ng bawat kalahok sa kani-kanilang larangan ng pamamahayag.

Ang nasabing pagpupulong ay naging matagumpay at nagsilbing inspirasyon para sa mga batang mamamahayag na patuloy na linangin ang kanilang talento at dedikasyon sa larangan ng pamamahayag.

Idinaos ang Division Training Workshop on Campus Journalism para sa mga School Paper Adviser noong ika-2 hanggang ika-4 ng Oktubre 2025 na ginanap sa President Roxas Central Elementary School. Layunin nitong palakasin ang kakayahan ng mga g**o sa larangan ng pamamahayag pampaaralan upang magabayan ang mga batang mamamahayag sa kanilang mga publikasyon.

Dinaluhan ang nasabing workshop ng iba’t ibang school paper advisers mula sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa buong Sangay ng Cotabato. Buong puso namang nakiisa ang mga campus journalism advisers ng Dalapitan High School sa nasabing programa. Tinalakay sa pagsasanay ang iba’t ibang paksa tulad ng news writing, feature writing, editorial at sports writing, gayundin ang tamang pamamahala ng isang pampaaralang publikasyon.

Layunin ng programang bigyang-diin nila ang kahalagahan ng malayang pamamahayag bilang bahagi ng paghubog sa mga mag-aaral upang maging mapanuri, responsable, at patuloy na umunlad ang campus journalism sa kanilang mga paaralan.

Dalapitan High School successfully carried out the Science Month Culmination with the theme: "Harnessing the Unknown : Powering Future through Science and Innovation" final celebration featuring activities that foster creativity, innovation, and style on the last day of September 2025.

The event consists of fun and engaging tournaments such as: Poster making, SCI-Pitik, SCI-Mystery Box, Utak Albert Einstein, SCI-Mazing Race, and the highlight Miss Trashion Icon where students showcased their love and talent for science empowering them to become innovative and creative individuals.

Through this momentous event, the importance of science and innovation united students to become environment, technology, and innovation wise. This also strengthened the innovative skills of students in incorporating sustainable development and positive outcome.

This event carries a significant meaning that through Science anything is possible and with a hint of innovation, we can make the world a better place to live.

Innovation and elegance came together at the Science Month Trashion Icon Show 2025, a celebration of advocacy, creativity, and sustainable fashion. One of the most striking outfits made from recyclable materials was Princess Ralita Alig's, which amazed the judges and the audience and eventually won the title of Ms. Trashion Icon 2025.

In addition to winning the crown, Princess also received the Ms. Trashionista's Choice Award, demonstrating that her charm and sense of style were appreciated by those outside the judging panel. Her stunning ensemble, which combined creativity and environmentally conscious design, perfectly captured the essence of the occasion: repurposing waste materials to create eye-catching demonstrations of sustainability.

Princess's ability to convey a strong message was what really set her apart, not just her elegant clothing. She demonstrated with each step on the runway that fashion need not be bad for the environment; in fact, it can renewed what many people consider to be "waste."

Her uniqueness and charm quickly won her praises from teachers, classmates, and other participants. Her poised presentation of her creation impressed the judges as well, demonstrating that genuine beauty is enhanced when combined with a purpose.

There has always been more to the Science Month Trashion Show than just a fashion show. Students and the community are reminded that sustainability can be imaginative, fashionable, and significant. This mission is symbolized by Princess Ralita Alig's victory, which demonstrates that when passion and purpose are combined, the outcome is nothing short of legendary.

One thing was clear as the spotlight faded from this year's Trashion Icon Show: Princess Ralita Alig had won more than just a crown. She created a mark for what it means to be a true Trashion Icon, won hearts, and make change.

The event featured four major activities: the adrenaline-filled Sci-Mazing Race, the intellectually charged Science Quiz Bee, the visually captivating Sci-Pitik—a science-themed photography contest—and the eco-glamorous Ms. Trashion Icon 2025, where students modeled outfits made from recycled materials.

Each activity showcased the diverse talents of learners and promoted environmental awareness, critical thinking, and appreciation for science in everyday life. The celebration brought together students, teachers, and guests in a memorable fusion of learning and fun.

The district-wide Mathematics Olympics 2025 for High School and Elementary students took place at Dalapitan High School on September 25, 2025, bringing together math prodigies from local schools within Matalam South District to compete in various mathematical challenges. The competition aimed to promote excellence in mathematics and encourage students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Dalapitan High School principal Santos A. Sambrano warmly welcome more than 500 students from 5 High Schools and 18 Elementary Schools who participated in the competition. The event featured four exciting contests: Team Quiz, Math Trail, Damath and Soduko.

In the Math Trail contest, students navigated through a series of mathematical problems set up around the venue, showcasing their problem-solving skills and creativity. The Team Quiz challenged students to work together to solve complex mathematical problems, promoting teamwork and collaboration. The Damath contest tested students' skills in mathematical operations and strategy, while the Sudoku challenge pushed students to think logically and solve puzzles quickly. The competition was fierce, with students showcasing their knowledge and quick thinking.

The event concluded with an awarding ceremony, recognizing students' efforts and achievements.
The District Mathematics Olympics was a resounding success, providing a platform for students to showcase their mathematical talents, creativity, and problem-solving skills. With over 500 potential problem solvers of the future, the event promoted excellence in mathematics, teamwork, and logical thinking. The competition's impact will likely inspire students to continue pursuing mathematical excellence and develop a lifelong love for the subject.

Not the first, but a fierce second. In a thrilling display of brain power and teamwork, Dalapitan High School both stage 3 and stage 4 clinched 2nd place in math team quiz held at Dalapitan High School on September 25 2025. And the contestants are Novelyn Malones, Sheaven Claire Alipio and Audrey Saunil for stage 3 and Beatrice Pacete, Faith Julianne Cabilas and Novie Jean Saarmiento for stage 4. While the top spot narrowly slipped away, the team showcased impressive logic, speed, and synergy — proving that coming second still added up to something spectacular.

On September 25, 2025, Dalapitan High School hosted a thrilling Damath competition, showcasing young mathematicians' skills at solving and logical thinking. The performers were Princess Reana Alojepan, who secured 2nd place in Stage 4, Mermae John Delfin, who took 3rd place in Stage 3, Aldrin Arnaiz, who claimed 2nd place in Stage 2, and Kesha Fernandez, who also secured 2nd place in Stage 1. The event promoted critical thinking and sportsmanship for Damath proved to be an intellectually stimulating activity for young minds.

Dalapitan High School came alive today as it hosted the District Math Olympics 2025, drawing student participants from across the district for a day of intellectually charged competition. The event featured a dynamic lineup of activities including Math Trails, where students solved clues across campus; Team Quizzes that tested collaborative problem-solving; Sudoku Challenges for logic and speed; and DamaMath, a strategic board game blending math and critical thinking.

Students showcased their skills in both individual and team formats, while teachers and school officials cheered them on. The Olympics aimed to promote mathematical literacy, teamwork, and a love for numbers in a fun and engaging setting.

DHS secured the first place in the conducted municipal wide elimination in STEMazing for the annual Division Science and Technology Fair in response to the celebration of Science Month 2025 fostering technological advancements and sustainability through proposing unique innovations of students, with the guidance of their coach Ma Emily J. Bautista, this September 18, 2025.

In the said competition held in DHS, the student-representatives Rezzette Briones, Faith Julianne Cabilas, and Beatrice Pacete all Grade 12 HUMSS and ABM students showcased their love for innovation and sustainability by proposing an invention that would solve overwhelming production of bio-waste in schools.

The said students will compete in the upcoming Division Wide STEMazing that will be held at Dilangalen National High School in Midsayap this September 20, 2025 together with their enthusiastic Science Coaches.

Dalapitan High School congratulates the said students for representing the school, their achievement will continue to inspire Dreamers to become innovative and science loving individuals.

Also, DHS expressed their gratitude to all the participants of the said event for producing eco-friendly proposals. The competition ended successfully after Sir Santos A. Sambrano, the School Head delivered his closing remarks.
