JOICE ESPINOZA (born June 6, 2007) is a Filipino singer and recording artist celebrated for her powerful voice, dynamic stage presence, and impressive achievements at a young age.
Early Life & Beginnings
Raised in Olongapo City, Philippines, Joice developed her passion for music through childhood karaoke sessions, often singing theme songs from cartoons. At only 10 years old, she proudly represented the Philippines at the Princess of the World Pageant in Pomorie, Bulgaria, where she won in both the singing and modeling categories. Her heartfelt performance earned a standing ovation, marking her first international triumph.
Television Appearances & Musical Breakthrough
Television debut: In 2023, Joice first appeared on national television through ABS-CBN’s Tawag ng Tanghalan (Season 7), where she was hailed as a Daily Winner. She later competed in GMA Network’s TiktoClock – Tanghalan ng Kampeon, further strengthening her presence in the Philippine entertainment scene.
Debut single — “Pangako Mo”: In 2024, she released her first original single “Pangako Mo”, composed by her manager John Rey Malto, arranged by Adonis Arcilla, recorded by Marvin Querido, and mixed/mastered by Angelo M. Rozul. The song became a viral hit, surpassing 1.2 million views online, and earned her a nomination at the 37th Aliw Awards for Best New Female Artist.
