Continuing a tradition of celebrating excellence and unity, the annual Intramurals 2025 officially opened at Dayhagan National High School (DNHS) on August 28. With the theme "Palarong may puso at nasa puso," the event showcased the talent and cooperation of the entire school.
The celebration began with a vibrant parade of students from each grade level. Leading the way, the muses and escorts captivated the audience, displaying their charm and grace as they led their teams. A highlight was the unity dance, a synchronized performance to the popular Palarong Pambansa song "Laban Na May Puso."
The event was led by Principal II Dr. Cecilia L. Tafalla, Head Teacher IV Mr. Chris John G. Tenorio, and Head Teacher III Mr. Dennis S. Sotomayor. They were joined by MAPEH Coordinator Mr. Ernesto C. Tangal and the dedicated MAPEH Officers, who worked hard to make everything possible.
According to school officials, the purpose of the Intramurals goes beyond physical competition. It is an opportunity for students to foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. They emphasized the importance of playing with respect for opponents and accepting the outcome of the game.
The competitions, which will take place over several days, include group games such as basketball, volleyball, etc., and individual games like badminton, chess, etc. The athletes are expected to show their skill and determination, in line with the event's theme.
The Intramurals 2025 highlights the strong support of parents, teachers, and school staff to ensure the success of every game. By the end of the event, students are expected to take home not only medals but also valuable lessons and unforgettable experiences.
