106.9 DXGR FM RadyoGandingan celebrates its third anniversary of serving marginalized and Muslim communities in the BARMM region through public service programs and radio drama.

Kadiguia Panalangin from Cotabato City began her journey through her local organization, UBL (Umpungan nu mga Mama endu mga Babai sa Lidsibung). The organization first engaged with Radyo Gandingan after electing officers and assigning leadership roles, where Kadiguia was chosen as secretary. Her involvement deepened as she and her fellow members underwent numerous seminars and training sessions.

Before the station was established, the Radyo Gandingan community radio program, in partnership with the Al-Hayat Foundation, had been serving the community for over 20 years. It features local news, interviews, and dramas produced by community members trained in radio broadcasting.

The gandingan is a well-known instrument in Maguindanao, traditionally used to send warnings and messages, even to remote areas. It represents a call to action.

106.9 DXGR FM RadyoGandingan in Cotabato City embodies this purpose through community-based programs that serve Maguindanaon communities by promoting education, advocacy, and dialogue. Its primary audience includes Muslim communities involved in peacebuilding projects of Al-Hayat Foundation to empower them and support sustainable development.

Filipino farmers are seeking government support as increased vegetable imports, particularly onions, drive down local prices. The Department of Agriculture (DA) approved onion imports in February, which coincided with the local harvest, causing prices to drop from ₱80-₱110 per kilo to just ₱30-₱33.

Pray for our local farmers struggling with unsold harvests due to the surge of imported vegetables. May God provide for their needs, strengthen their livelihoods, and guide us to support them in any way we can. Also pray for our leaders to create policies that uplift and support our farmers.

In 2 Chronicles 7, God responds to Solomon’s dedication of the temple with both a promise and a warning. He assures His people that if they humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways, He will hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land (v. 14).

May the Lord awaken in us a heart that seeks Him above all else. We pray for wisdom and righteousness to guide our nation, for leaders who walk in integrity, and for communities strengthened by faith and love. May His presence bring healing where there is brokenness, hope where there is despair, and unity where there is division.

As we seek God, let us align our hearts with His will. A nation's healing starts with a people surrendered to Him.
