Principal Responsibilities: (Essential Function)
• Will provide technical support within production floor.
• Will troubleshoot any issues occurring locally but not limited within their respective
centers.
• Will have 5 minutes time to resolve local issues within their respective centers until
occurring issues be escalated to the Supervisors or Router Maintenance.
• Installs, configures, and maintains all desktop, laptop, workstation and software systems
for all company users.
• Provides technical support regarding system configuration, program usage, and desktop
problems to users
• Support and troubleshoot OS’s including Windows 7 and Ubuntu
• Support and troubleshoot Zoiper, Skype and other applications provided by the company.
• Applies knowledge of Company Policies and standard practices to resolve problems
• Analyzes issues and uses judgment to make decisions.
• Escalates non-standard problems or issues to Router Maintenance and Supervisors.
• Alerts management to reoccurring problems and causes of problems.
• Works with all levels of Management, including direct support to the executives and
Corporate employees.
• Responsible for maintenance of IT tools and equipment assigned to their respective
centers.
• Orders and takes delivery of equipment as directed by their direct Supervisors and Head.
• Signs and is responsible for equipment as necessary.
• Undertake special projects as directed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or any Computer related Course or Equivalent
Must have good English communication Skills both oral and written.
Must be knowledgeable in computer repair and maintenance.
Knowledgeable in networking (Cabling, crimping, layout, installation)
Considerable knowledge of company policies and procedures, and the ability to enforce them
Ability to comprehend coded information and instructions
Work-oriented and can work with less supervision.
Can work and decide on complex issues under pressure.
Experience in handling Ubuntu Operating System is a plus.
