Maquimot, kasama ang kanyang masipag na coach na si Brenda Lee T. Alcasid, sa pagkakamit ng Unang Gantimpala (1st Place) sa Pagwawasto ng Sipi at Pag-uulo ng Balita sa ginanap na Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) sa Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Sa pamamagitan ng kanyang husay, sipag, at dedikasyon sa campus journalism, nagbigay ng malaking karangalan si Kisha Janine sa paaralan at sa buong komunidad. Ang kanyang tagumpay ay patunay ng kanyang talento at determinasyon sa larangan ng pamamahayag.
