Bilang isang nasa HR, it’s my job to look for opportunities that will elevate our workforce. Kaya wait lang—before we totally say NO to the Pax Silica project, let's look at the bigger picture first. 🤔

I get why a lot of people are hesitant about this proposed 1,620-hectare AI and semiconductor hub sa New Clark City. Pero if we reject it outright this early, we might be throwing away one of the biggest job-generating projects of our generation.

Let's look at it from a human capital perspective:

💼 The Upside (Why HR loves it):
This project is projected to generate 130,000 to 300,000 high-quality, high-paying jobs. We're talking about careers for our engineers, researchers, and tech graduates. Sa HR, araw-araw naming nakikita ang "brain drain"—our top talents leaving for abroad for better pay. This hub could attract $40B to $70B in investments. Imagine the local careers and upskilling opportunities this will create! Baka hindi na kailangang umalis ng mga Pilipino para lang umasenso.

💧⚡ The Catch (The Operational Risk):
But as HR professionals, we also know that business continuity and employee well-being matter. A massive tech hub like this will require 3 to 5 gigawatts of electricity and 65 to 90 million liters of water every single day. BCDA claims they’ll build a surface water harvesting system. But if this fails, hindi lang negosyo ang apektado—pati ang mga komunidad at mismong mga manggagawa na mawawalan ng kuryente at tubig sa mga bahay nila.

So here's my HR take: Let's not close the door on a massive employment opportunity without doing our due diligence. Ang dapat nating i-demand: SHOW US THE CONCRETE PLANS. 📋

Instead of immediate cancellation, we need transparency. Bago tayo pumayag o tumanggi, dapat ilabas muna ng gobyerno at ng Pax Silica ang clear engineering at infrastructure layouts nila:

Paano nila isu-sustain 'yung energy and water requirements without causing rotating blackouts sa grid natin?

How exactly will that water system work kapag may El Niño?

Let’s evaluate their actual blueprints. Kung sablay ang sustainability plans nila at malalagay sa alanganin ang mga tao, then we say NO. But if they can actually pull it off sustainably, imagine the massive employment and economic advantage it will give to our workforce.

Let’s base our stand on facts and transparency, hindi sa early speculation. 🇵🇭📈
