In line with the celebration of Mental Health Month, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) has put up a photobooth and freedom wall inside the CCA building. This initiative aims to provide students with a safe and creative space to express themselves and promote awareness of the importance of mental health.

The photobooth encourages learners to capture fun and memorable moments with their classmates, while the freedom wall serves as an open platform where students can freely write their thoughts, feelings, and messages of encouragement for others.

Through these activities, the SSLG hopes to foster positivity, solidarity, and a supportive school environment where every learner feels heard and valued.

๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ || All Sections Participate in Weekly Clean-up Driveโ™ป๏ธ

October 17, 2025 โ€” the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officially launched the Weekly Clean-Up Drive within the school premises. Each section, led by their respective class presidents, actively took part in cleaning and organizing their designated areas.

This initiative will be held every Friday, aiming not only to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the school environment, but also to instill discipline, cooperation, and a sense of responsibility among students.

With the collective efforts of every class, the first clean-up drive was a successโ€”restoring the school grounds to a cleaner and more organized state. The SSLG believes this weekly activity will continue to strengthen the spirit of bayanihan and student leadership.

The SSLG extends its gratitude to all the participants and looks forward to the continued support of every learner in the coming weeks.

October 5โ€“6, 2025 โ€” Four SAIS-SSLG Officers, together with one SSLG Adviser, Ms. Cristina Chy, attended a 2-Day Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training held at Sumoroy Hall, Provincial Capitol, Catarman, Northern Samar.

The training focused on the process of providing Psychological First Aid, its importance in promoting mental wellness, and the value of self-care. Participants actively engaged in interactive discussions and activities that emphasized the role of youth leaders in supporting mental health awareness within their schools and communities.

The two-day seminar served as a meaningful opportunity for the SSLG officers to gain insights into mental health advocacy and to strengthen their ability to offer emotional support to those in need.

October 4, 2025 - Mr. Richard Augustus B. Reyes, Jr., the SAIS-SSLG President and DFSSLG Protocol Officer together with Mr. Gilbert V. Calumpiano, SAIS-SSLG Adviser attended the Capability Coop Leadership Training held at Ibabao Hall, Provincial Capitol, Catarman N. Samar.

This training highlight how the Youth as leaders can participate in the Cooperative Movement. This also highlights how youth leaders can establist cooperatives for the betterment of their constituents. The event was formally ended by a Youth Declaration where the youth leaders has declared the challenges, strengths, and possible solutions to the problems that the youth face today.
