Mount Tapyas is a prominent landmark in Coron, Palawan, known for its breathtaking panoramic views 🏞️ of the town and surrounding islands. It has 742 steps leading to its summit ⛰️ making it a popular spot for both tourists and locals seeking a stunning vantage point. Approximately 210 meters (689 feet) above sea level. Palawan's mangroves and savoring the unique taste of Tamilok. 🌿🐚

🐚Tamilok also known as woodworm or shipworm is typically found in mangrove areas. It burrows into the wood of mangrove trees and can be harvested from there. If you’re adventurous, trying Tamilok in its natural habitat can be quite an experience!

🐚It’s a delicacy in some places like in Palawan, Philippines. Despite its appearance, it’s not actually a worm but a species of saltwater clam. People often eat it raw or marinated in vinegar.

🐚Some specific locations where you might find it include the mangrove forests in Sabang Puerto Princesa City, El Nido and the Bacuit Bay area. Local guides can often point you to spots where Tamilok is harvested
