Today is August 25th.

Our ancestors fought for what is right, and what is just. Our ancestors defended the truth and freedom for generations to come. Our ancestors made our nation.

Some with a pen, some with a sword. Ends justifies the means, as long as it was done with decency.

Decade after decade, our nation is being challenged by local and foreign as****es, and our ancestors doubled down to maintain our nation.

And we, the current generation, must as well, in our own way. Small victories compound. We are the hope of the nation, as Rizal told. You don't need to take arms, you can always do your part one way or another.

We must fight for the truth, justice, and freedom. Be brave, be bold, show your teeth, show your valor. Let the tyrants tremble in fear!
