𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝘀: 𝗕𝗬 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗟

Anything we see as "precious" and are willing to sacrifice everything for can end up controlling us.

But Jesus is different— He is the only treasure who gave up His life to make us His own, showing how much He values us. Knowing that we are treasured by Him frees us from the need to chase after other things, like money, because we belong to Him and are secure in His love.

Matthew 6:19-21

19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal.

20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.

21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be."

"Health and wealth preachers" claim that we can live in luxury as long as we give God the credit, suggesting that God even expects it.

However, Scripture teaches a different perspective: God provides abundance not for self-indulgence but to enable generous giving and good works (2 Corinthians 9:8-11).

Riches are entrusted to us so we can share and bless others, leading to thanksgiving to God.

Sharing a personal story: 🥹
I once struggled with this myself. I grew up poor and felt blessed when God gave me the chance to earn a good income as a Financial Advisor. However, I got caught up in the idea that working harder would lead to more money. This focus slowly pulled me away from my time with the Lord, and I convinced myself that just a few minutes each morning was enough to be a follower of Jesus.

In my pursuit of success, I watched my relationships suffer. Eventually, I realized that the best decision was to step back from my career and prioritize God and my family. This choice became a true blessing, allowing me to return to God with a humble heart, confess my mistakes, and seek forgiveness.

Through this journey, I’ve learned that wealth can be a wonderful tool when used wisely. I pray that, by God's grace, we can manage wealth in a way that serves as a blessing, not a curse.

The Bible may not give step-by-step instructions for reaching your financial goals, but it offers guidance on how to set them. It provides a strong foundation to build on and clear principles to follow as you work toward achieving them.

God blesses us with the ability to create, whether through work or business. But with that gift comes the responsibility to manage what we’ve created with wisdom and care, in a way that aligns with God's Word.

Yes, we may have faltered in our walk with God at times, but it's a powerful reminder that despite this, we must return to our one true God and serve Him faithfully 🙏

The pursuits of this world—be it ambitions, relationships, or material possessions—are bound to disappoint us because they are ultimately empty. Instead of chasing after these fleeting things, let us strive to pursue God and fix our eyes on Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) ❤️

The Israelites demanded a king to rule over them, despite warnings from Samuel about the potential negative consequences of having a human king. This decision ultimately led to various hardships and challenges for the Israelites under the rule of human kings.

God’s will is acceptable, pleasing, and perfect. If we are stubborn despite many warnings, it will have consequences. Our disobedience will become a snare or trap for us, just like what happened to Israel.
