"Dear graduates, you don't need perfect conditions to succeed. You just need an unshakeable reason to keep going. Just keep walking even if everything told you to stop. Determination should come from within yourself. Let the hard work of your parents be your motivation to keep pushing forward."

From a youth shaped by hardship to a life transformed by determination, Atty. Arlyn Cinco–Clerigo's life narrative carries deep wisdom to all graduates as she conveyed her message during the SAIS 8th Commencement Exercises.

Reflecting upon the path she had taken before, the guest speaker gave all learners an indelible advice — exert determination and dedicate themselves as commitment towards their studies.

For her, no words will be able to make her stop achieving what was settled in her mind, and when you feel exhausted, your motivation wavers, just look over those people who made sacrifices and effort just so you could be there.

For Carla R. Balang, Batch 2025 With Highest Honors, the biggest lesson she ever learned throughout her academic journey is that you don't have to figure out where the ship would take you, you just have to trust life voyage.

"If there's one thing I learned from all of this, it's that you don't have to have everything figured out. Sometimes, you just have to trust the journey."

Carla's speech is a reminder that the journey may be rough and tough, but it's important to keep moving forward.

The journey towards the academic success of Aldrian Tobello—With Highest Honors, is not an easy path, given by the hardships, pressure, and the responsibilities he faced as a student-leader, athlete, working-student, and consistent honor student. But these challenges ultimately fueled him to continue and thrive for excellence.

As he look back in his high school journey, Tobello encouraged the graduating class to dream big, set goal, to not be afraid of failure, to embrace change, and to grow in order to achieve the bright future ahead of them.

“Patuloy tayong mangarap. Dreaming is like predicting our future, and planning seems like an act of coloring our journey. Having a good structure of ourselves will lead us to be steady amidst uncertainty. However, it is inexpedient to achieve what we really want to.
We don't have to be afraid to fail, without failure there's no success, without mistakes there's no change, without change there's no growth, and without self-determination and perseverance, there's no bright future.”

𝐊𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐌 ll 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼

Ayon sa DepEd Memo No.030, s. 2021 o "Clarifications on the Recognition of Academic Excellence Awardees per DepEd Order No.36, s. 2016."
