When people hear “PCOS,” they think it’s just about missed periods or something a pill can fix. But it’s so much more. PCOS affects your whole life—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I was diagnosed in 2020. Since then, I’ve been trying to lose weight—through diet changes, workouts, setbacks, and starting over again and again.
One comment I always hear is, “gym ka nang gym, ang taba mo pa rin naman!”
But they don’t see the daily struggle.
They don’t feel the fight happening inside my body.
PCOS makes everything harder—weight loss, energy, mood, skin, hair, and self-esteem.
Still, I keep going. Because this isn’t just about weight. It’s about healing.
It’s about learning to be kind to my body, even when others aren’t.
It’s about showing up for myself—one day at a time.
So to anyone struggling with PCOS:
You are not alone.
You are not lazy.
You are not less.
And if no one has told you this lately:
You’re doing an amazing job. 💪
Keep going—you’ve got this. ✨
