A devastating flash flood has struck Nepal's Rasuwa district near the Tibet border. The sudden surge through the Bhote Koshi River swept away settlements and severely damaged homes, roads, bridges and power infrastructure. Many lives have been lost, hundreds remain missing, and rescue teams are working under extremely difficult conditions.
