And we seriously haven’t seen anything like it at other luxury resorts in Bohol! 🤩

Every time we return to Amorita Resort , we’re reminded of why we keep coming back here: the warm welcome, thoughtful touches in every corner and the peaceful sanctuary they’ve created where we can simply breathe and be together.

✨HOW WE MAKE CHRISTMAS MORE INTENTIONAL AS PARENTS✨

Christmas is here and while it’s the most wonderful time of the year, sometimes we find ourselves caught up with all the festivities that we neglect the real meaning of the season: JESUS, love and generosity.

This year, here are 5 things we did to make Christmas more meaningful:

1. SETUP A SHEPHERD’S DINNER 🍽️

We started a family tradition where we setup a dinner in dim lights and candles to remember that night when Jesus was born in the manger. We sang carols and read Biblical passages of Christ’s birth to re-tell the Christmas story to our kids and remind them that Jesus is the reason for the season.

2. WRAP MEANINGFUL GIFTS 🎁

We love giving gifts and this year, we became more intentional with it by wrapping gifts that give back. Happy that UNICEF Philippines makes every holiday purchase meaningful with a collection of creative merchandise that we can give to our loved ones and at the same time support fund programs in health, education, nutrition and protection .

3. WRITE WARM HOLIDAY GREETINGS 🎄

Remember the Hiraya card collection? UNICEF has collaborated with again for this limited edition 12-card Christmas set that celebrates Filipino Christmas traditions designed to touch every adult’s heart while supporting vulnerable children.

We’re including it in our gifts so we can send our holiday greetings to our families and friends in a meaningful way. 💖

4. READ BOOKS ABOUT THE REAL CHRISTMAS STORY ✨

Our kids love books and our Christmas books collection has grown over the years. 📚 We read these books to them as soon as December starts and it’s an interesting way to make our kids look forward to the holiday season. ☺️

5. TEACH THE KIDS ABOUT CHRIST’S BIRTH THROUGH PLAY🏡

Every child loves to play. So instead of just setting up a nativity set at home, we gave Kaylee and Kaeden this playset so we can keep them engaged while teaching them about the significance of the birth of Christ.
