PANIQUI, TARLAC — The Municipal Government of Paniqui continues to expand its social protection programs for senior citizens as 168 new social pensioners were added to the municipality’s growing list of beneficiaries through the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS).
Municipal Mayor Kat Roxas attended the distribution of the 2nd and 3rd Social Pension, highlighting the local government’s continuing commitment to provide assistance to senior citizens and strengthen programs intended to support their welfare.
The additional beneficiaries were identified through CBMS, which serves as a mechanism for identifying qualified residents and helping ensure that government assistance reaches those who need it.
During the activity, Mayor Kat Roxas reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to gradually expand the social pension program. She said the municipality will continue adding new social pensioners every year until all qualified senior citizens in Paniqui are covered.
The initiative reflects the administration’s broader effort to strengthen social services and ensure that senior citizens receive continued assistance and recognition from the local government.
As the program expands, the Municipal Government of Paniqui remains committed to building a more inclusive social protection system for its senior citizens and ensuring that government services reach more Paniqueños.
