The Rotary Club of Palanyag-Parañaque (RCPP) together with the Rotary Homes Foundation ( RHF) had a groundbreaking ceremony on Feb 8, 2025 at Manggahan Kawayanan in Bgy Marcelo Parañaque for 36 houses. Beneficiaries were victims of fire last year 2024.

Present were, Gov Sid Garcia Chairman Emeritus of RHF, Gov Sue Sta Maria Chairman of RHF, Gov Romy Cruz Vice Chairman of RHF, PP of RCPP. Also present were Bgy Capt Ian Aguilar, RCPP Pres Manny Tamayo, and PE Chu Bernabe-Calleja both of RCPP. Also present were Fmr Mayor, now Dilg Asec Jun Bernabe and PP RCPP Benjo Bernabe who vowed to support this noble project. Mayor Eric Olivarez and Congressman Edwin Olivarez were there to support.

All that Fmr Mayor Jun Bernabe wanted was to build as many houses as he could for his constituents from the depressed areas. In fact he got a Silver Award by the United Nations in 2012 for building 32 housing projects in Parañaque .
