After I shared my check-up experience, a lot of you asked me about the process at Maxicare PCC. So here’s a quick guide based on what I did. Hopefully this helps, especially for moms and families curious about how it works!

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙄 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚:
1. Go to https://www.maxicare.com.ph
2. Choose your preferred Maxicare Primary Care Center (PCC) location.
3. Select your preferred time and date.
4. Choose your doctor for the consultation.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙘:
• Upon arrival, input your details at their self-service kiosk.
• Wait for your name or number to appear on the big screen.
• Step 1: Triage – They’ll get your height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, and oximeter reading.
• Then, go back to the waiting area until your doctor calls you in.

Next steps depend on your doctor.
In my case, I was advised to do some laboratory tests which required fasting. Every consultation may be different depending on what you need.

If you’re a parent, especially a mom—even if you’re a stay-at-home mom, please don’t ignore any unusual symptoms or changes you feel in your body. Always prioritize your health, because your child and your whole family depend on you. 💙

I’m truly grateful to Maxicare PCC - SM BF Parañaque for their fast and caring service. The process was smooth, the staff were very accommodating, and I felt well taken care of during my visit.

And of course, a big thank you to my husband, because of him we have an HMO that gives us peace of mind and access to quality healthcare. 🙏 Having that kind of support really makes a huge difference.

To all parents: your health matters just as much as your family’s. Take care of yourself, because a healthy parent means a happy and secure family.
