Reflection for the Year
No matter how attractive you think you are, remember,
even baboons and gorillas draw crowds.
Humility beats vanity.
No matter how strong you feel,
you will not carry yourself to your grave.
Strength bows to grace.
No matter how tall your achievements stand,
you still cannot see tomorrow.
Patience is wisdom in waiting.
No matter how light your skin or bright your image,
darkness will still come without warning.
Stay alert. Walk carefully.
No matter how wealthy you become or how many cars you own,
you will still walk yourself to bed at night.
Contentment is real success.
Slow down.
Life is short, and it is sacred.

CHURCH and MOSQUE — same letters, different paths

BIBLE and QURAN — same length, shared reverence

LIFE and DEAD — four letters, eternal weight

LOVE and HATE — same size, opposite power

FRIENDS and ENEMIES — same count, different choices

TRUTH and LYING — one frees, one traps

HURT and HEAL — pain isn’t the end

NEGATIVE and POSITIVE — perspective decides

FAILURE and SUCCESS — both teachers

BELOW and ABOVE — position is temporary

CRY and JOY — seasons pass

ANGER and HAPPY — discipline matters

RIGHT and WRONG — conscience counts

RICH and POOR — souls are equal

FAIL and PASS — effort draws the line

KNOWLEDGE and IGNORANCE — choice separates them

Coincidence?

Or invitation?

Life is a double-edged blade.

What you choose,cuts.

And if you think it was your alarm clock that woke you today,
place it beside a lifeless body
and you’ll understand the truth:
It was grace.
Not habit.
Not routine.
Grace.
So today,
Be grateful.
Be kind.
Pray deeply.
Live deliberately.

Trust what God allows.
Even when it hurts.

Some seasons break you.
Some seasons test you.
Some seasons stretch every ounce of faith you have.
But strength isn’t pretending it doesn’t hurt.
Strength is standing anyway and saying:
“God is with me. I’ll figure it out.”
No matter the loss.
No matter the pressure.
No matter the uncertainty.
If He brought you this far, He’s not done yet. 🙏

When you pray,
“Lord, when You bless me, please extend those blessings to those who have looked out for me too,”
you are praying straight from the heart of Scripture.
🙏 Intercession – You’re not praying only for yourself, but for others. This reflects Christ’s own heart, always standing before God on behalf of people. It shows a faith that looks outward, not inward.
🙏 Gratitude in action – Instead of stopping at “thank you,” you ask God to bless the people He used to care for you. You recognize that God often answers prayers through human hands.
🙏 Humility – You admit you didn’t get where you are alone. This protects the heart from pride and keeps success grounded in grace.
