Students of “Living in the Era” Conduct 2nd Short Film CineTech 2025

The students of Living in the Era successfully conducted the 2nd Short Film CineTech 2025 on October 29, 2025, held at the Audio Visual Room. The event highlighted the creativity, teamwork, and technical skills of the participating students from BS Entrepreneurship, ACT, and BSIT programs.

The Short Film CineTech serves as a platform for students to express their insights, innovations, and reflections through the art of filmmaking. Each short film showcased unique perspectives on contemporary issues, blending storytelling, technology, and creativity.

This meaningful activity was initiated by Ms. Ronalyn G. Baraquiel, MIT, as part of their performance task in the subject Living in the Era. Through her guidance and encouragement, students were able to translate their ideas into compelling short films that inspired and entertained the audience.

The event concluded with a recognition ceremony to honor the outstanding works and performances. Congratulations to all the participants for their dedication and impressive efforts. Special recognition goes to the winning film and its talented cast and crew, whose exceptional storytelling, cinematography, and acting captured the hearts of the viewers and judges alike.

The success of the 2nd Short Film CineTech 2025 stands as a testament to the students’ passion, creativity, and collaborative spirit—marking another milestone in promoting artistic expression and digital innovation within the academic community.

🌿 Bayanihan for a Greener Future! 🌿

The ACLC College of Daet, through the National Service Training Program (NSTP-CWTS) in partnership with the Supreme Student Council, successfully conducted the “Bayanihan for a Greener Future: Clean-Up Drive and Waste Segregation Campaign” on October 25, 2025, at Barangay V, Daet, Camarines Norte as part of their culminating activity.

The event was actively participated in by the NSTP-CWTS students, together with Ms. Aira Aquino, NSTP Adviser, and Hon. Agapito Riñon, Barangay Chairman.

Together, they embodied the true spirit of bayanihan—working hand in hand for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable community. 💚✨

ACLC College of Daet proudly participated in the 2025 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held from October 15–17 at Paracale National High School, this year’s host school.

Representing ACLC College of Daet were the following student-journalists:
• Ian Carlo M. Regondola – Photojournalism (Filipino)
• Tuesday M. Corsino – Feature Writing (Filipino)
• Colin Bartolome – News Writing (Filipino)
• Arbie Porcincula – Editorial Cartooning (English)

They were guided and mentored by their dedicated teacher-coaches, Ms. Claire Ann Jimenez and Ms. Glemarie Añora.

Today, ACLC joins to celebrate the greatest victory in history – the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Death has been defeated. The grave couldn’t hold Him. Sin has lost its power.

Because He lives, we have hope. We have freedom. We have eternal life. Easter Sunday is not just a story it’s the foundation of our faith. Jesus rose, just as He said He would, proving that nothing is impossible for God.

GOOD FRIDAY | "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."– John 15:13

March 25, 2025 | ACLC College of Daet Holds Inspirational Discussion on "Lovestruck: 'Discovering the Love That Never Fails"

The ACLC College of Daet, through the collaborative efforts of the ITEX Club and the Supreme Student Council, successfully conducted a one-day discussion on March 25, 2025, at the ACLC Function Hall. The event focused on the theme, "Lovestruck: Discovering the Love That Never Fails" as part of the 4-day annual celebration of SOLACE 2025.

The session was graced by Pastor/Mentor Edwin Ryan "Kuya E.R." Villagomez of the Nextgen Campus, who delivered an insightful and heartfelt message on the true essence of love. His discussion centered on unconditional love, resilience in relationships, and the importance of faith in navigating life's challenges.

Students, faculty members, and staff actively participated in the event, engaging in thought-provoking discussions and sharing personal insights. The interactive session allowed attendees to reflect on the depth and significance of love in different aspects of life, including family, friendships, and faith.

Kuya A.R encouraged everyone to seek and cultivate a love that transcends circumstances and trials. He emphasized that true love is rooted in kindness, understanding, and unwavering faith. His inspiring words left a lasting impact on the audience, reinforcing the importance of building meaningful relationships based on compassion and commitment.

The ITEX Club and the Supreme Student Council expressed their gratitude to Pastor Villagomez for his time and wisdom. They also acknowledged the active participation of students and the unwavering support of the school administration in making the event a success.

As the event concluded, attendees left with renewed perspectives on love, carrying with them valuable lessons that extend beyond the classroom. The ACLC College of Daet continues to uphold its commitment to holistic education by fostering discussions that enrich students' personal and spiritual growth.
