MACHINE OR FREE WEIGHTS?
✅ Both good for building strength.
✅ Both good for muscle hypertrophy.
In the end, it is still a preference based or goal based matter.
If you want a more stable lift that you can easily apply progressive overload, go for machines. But if you want to stick with the traditional way of lifting, go for free weights. You can still mix and match workouts combining the two in your program.
But when you are going to ask me what would I prefer for muscle growth, I’ll use machine as it is more stable especially for compound exercises.
