Some friendships really do feel like family. 🤍

Celebrating Penelope’s 7th birthday was extra special because I got to see my Langara friends again! It’s been years since we finished our Post-Degree Diploma, but somehow, we’ve managed to stay so close. Even with our busy schedules, we still make time to get together a few times a year for birthdays, celebrations, and everything in between.

I’m so grateful that I found this little family in my Langara nursing class. We may have met because of school, but I’m so happy that the friendship continued long after graduation. 🥹🤍

Spent the day celebrating our family members with July birthdays, surrounded by good food, great company, and lots of laughter. We shared delicious Filipino dishes, sang our favorite OPM songs, introduced our friends to a little piece of Filipino culture, played classic Filipino games, and even set up the cutest little sari-sari store. 🇵🇭

Days like these remind me that home isn’t just a place, it’s the people you celebrate life with. Happy birthday to all our July celebrants! 🥳🎂
