Crispy Chicken in BBQ Pineapple Sauce

A delicious balance of crispy fried chicken tossed in a sweet, smoky, and tangy pineapple BBQ glaze—perfect for family meals or party trays.

Ingredients

For the Chicken

1 kg chicken (cut into serving pieces)

¼ cup calamansi juice or lemon juice

2 tbsp fish sauce

Breading mix (flour or preferred crispy coating)

Cooking oil, for deep frying

For the Pineapple BBQ Sauce

½ cup pineapple sauce

½ cup Mama Sita’s BBQ Sauce

2 tbsp Knorr Liquid Seasoning

½ cup tomato catsup

½ cup brown sugar

2 tbsp garlic powder

2 tbsp Spanish paprika

1 tbsp Cajun powder

½–1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
