Sparkle artists kick off their Monday with Arnis Training led by Dayang Mizha De Guzman and Dayang Grecell Saturinas of Modern Arnis Mano-mano Filipino Martial Arts.

Garitony "Punong Lakan" Nicolas founded Modern Arnis Mano-Mano Filipino Martial Arts in 1995. He was the first arnis instructor to conduct the biggest demonstration of the art of arnis in collaboration with the Department of Tourism. He was a fight director for GMA7's Encantadia—Etheria and appeared in several TV programs, such as Mel and Joey, Tropang Potchi, and Unang Hirit. Dayang Mizha, the facilitator for today's workshop, is Garitony's daughter, who continues teaching Arnis at the MAMFMA.
