KPop Demon Hunters returns with Halloween sing-along screenings
Fans invited to join the demon-slaying girl group in cinemas from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2
Netflixâs hit animated musical KPop Demon Hunters is heading back to theaters this Halloween for a special sing-along edition that lets audiences belt out their favorite songs with lyrics projected onscreen.
The animated film follows HUNTR/X, a fictional K-pop girl group who double as demon hunters protecting their fans from supernatural forces. Blending vibrant music, action, and fantasy, the movie became one of Netflixâs most-watched releases of 2025 and a surprise global phenomenon among K-pop fans.
From October 31 to November 2, select theaters worldwideâincluding AMC, Regal, and Cinemarkâwill screen the sing-along version to celebrate Halloween weekend. Audiences are encouraged to come in costume, channeling their favorite idols or monsters.
Released in June 2025, KPop Demon Hunters broke streaming records and launched viral hits like âGoldenâ and âNight Fire,â earning praise for its stunning visuals and message of friendship and self-belief. A limited theatrical run last August filled over 1,700 cinemas, proving the fan baseâs growing demand for big-screen experiences.
Producers confirmed that a sequel is already in development, but ruled out a live-action version, saying the storyâs fantasy elements and music-driven energy work best in animation.
This Halloween, fans can once again dance, sing, and fight demons togetherâK-pop style.
