Inspired by Step Up Movies and You Got Served, Dance Mania Street Battle opened it's inter school competition on the same year with the theme "STREETS" inspired by the movie Step Up 2 "The Streets" 5 High Schools and 5 Colleges Competed on the event. Then came 2009, Dance Mania Street Battle partnered with X - Site of Festival Supermall for the Dance Craze 2009, where a certain group emerge victor
ius during the event which happens to be the 2nd Runner Up of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2, the group called "FREESTYLERS", in addition to the events ingredient, Dance Mania Street Battle, launched it's Fashion Show during the Dance Craze 2009, sponsored by Prescripto Apparels and Perfumes and Star Republik Bags and Scents. These made Dance Mania Street Battle different from the other Dance Competitions. Also, during 2008, Dance Mania Street Battle decided, why only show what the groups got during their performance, Dance Mania Street Battle decided to have a group battle like a you got served style to determine who is the real winner. Also during 2009, Dance Mania Street Battle 2 made it's way again to the inter school competition with the themed "Bboy and Bgirl" in partnership with TV 5's Shall We Dance. Then came 2010, Dance Mania Street Battle season 3 took place where the season 2 was held, it was in Bluewave Stripmall, Pasay City, where in the theme was "Supremacy Battle", among the highlights of the event was the Don Enrique Mixkila Fashion Show, Careline and Blackwater Fashion Show, and the Hawk bags, Street Fashion Show. The Dance Mania Street Battle 3 Campus Edition didn't pushed thru due to a big event during those times. Came 2011, Dance Mania Street Battle, released a season 3.5 where the theme was KPOP and it was held during the D' JK Fever Technowave. And now Dance Mania Street Battle will once again conquer the dance floor with it's season 4 and we will be kicking it old school
