At 45, sharing the pitch and playing football⚽️ with my 17-year-old daughter Anika Polyana MQ is a rare opportunity and one of the greatest pride I carry as a father.

Her influence goes a long way as we bond.

📍Surreal. Epic. Historic. I enjoyed the whole out and back route of Runrio Manila Marathon this year from SM MOA to SM north and back. Except the tunnels of Ayala and Cubao, the combinations of uphill and down hill was nothing compared the flyovers of Roxas Blvd and Jones Bridge.

🏃🏻‍♂️‍➡️My recon was a preview, next year I will be racing here again and hopefully have a good training block and prepare for the intense heat.

🎉 Congratulations to those who braved EDSA! It felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity after decades of dreaming for Coach Rio to stage this magnificent race!

I thank my loving wife Mish Maravilla for her unwavering support.❤️

My 2026 Galaxy Runrio Manila Marathon recon is a success. Sarap ng aspalto ng EDSA with super rolling unli hills pati yung inet hehe feom SM MOA to SM North EDSA and back.

Mapapamura ka sa hapdi ng ruta. 😆🤣

Congrats to all finishers, a hard earned one sa mga nag 42KM specially sa mga naka-PR! 🫡
