At 5 years old, Mateo was recently featured in Muntinlupa News Express for his outstanding performance at the Mayor Ruffy Biazon Cup 2025, representing Coach Arvin Elane Swim Team and Swim League Philippines Patriot — and he did amazingly well!

It's a wrap for Mateo's swim season in 2025
A 5 year old swimmer competing against 6 year old swimmers.

From Class C last competition, he leveled up to Class A in 100m freestyle ( 2:24.41) and 50m freestyle (1:05.86). Class B for 100m backstroke (2:48.84) and 50m breastroke (1:46.04) . Still Class C for 50m butterfly (1:30.43) .

Took home
2 bronze medals in Class A
2 gold medals for Class B
1 gold medal for Class C
And
Most Outstanding Swimmer for Class B, 6yo & under category 💪
