Sharing my first camping experience for those who are curious but hesitant to start.

: You donโt need to buy a complete camping setup right away.
Especially if youโre not yet sure kung magugustuhan mo talaga ang camping. No need to spend a lot of money only to end up with things na hindi naman magagamit.
โ ๏ธ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: This is based on my experience as a solo camper. It might be very different if youโre camping with a partner or may kids kayong kasama (mas maraming gamit, for sure ๐
).

- With electricity โ since beginner pa lang ako
- May data connection โ for safety and peace of mind
- May restaurant or cafรฉ โ wala pa akong cooking gear and honestly, I didnโt know what to buy yet
- Easy access โ hindi komplikado puntahan at malapit sa kabihasnan, just in case may kailangan ako

- Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, etc.)
- OFF lotion / mosquito repellent (super important!)
- Personal items you normally use daily

I didnโt need it that time, but looking back, it wouldโve been really nice to have. Lesson learned for next time.

What I did before going to the campsite:
- Checked the weather forecast para prepared
- Review the map on how to get to the place
- Buy Food: Bread, 3-in-1 coffee, yellow, pero nag-order parin ako sa campsite ng food
- Set my mind that camping can be uncomfortable
I only booked overnight because this was really a test run โ testing myself, my comfort level, and if camping is something Iโd actually want to commit to.

If youโre curious about camping, start simple.
Use what you already have, buy only the essentials, and learn as you go.
Once you try it, youโll naturally know what to ask, what to buy next, and what kind of camper you want to be.
From there, mas malinaw na kung ano yung gusto mong i-invest in next time, instead of buying everything at once.
