My First Concert of the Year, With My Forever Favorite Person

This year, I attended my first concert—and I did it with mom, Maris.
And honestly? Sobrang solid.

The concert was Sexbomb Round 4, and grabe… walang kupas. Walang makakapantay. Totoo pala talaga na maraming pinalaki ang Sexbomb na matapang—and I’m proud to say I’m one of them. I may not know all their songs or shows by heart, but I know in my soul that they became a big part of my life growing up.

Watching the concert with my mom made the experience even more special. Being surrounded by people with the same taste, the same energy, the same joy—it felt like everyone was brought together just to celebrate happiness. Iba talaga ang saya na binibigay ng concert.

This will always be one of my core memories. Sobrang saya kasama ni mom. There’s a different kind of joy when she’s with me. Attending a concert with her felt so surreal in the best way. Ang sarap niya kasama. Ang gaan ng pakiramdam.

Mom, I hope this is not the last concert we’ll watch together. I hope masundan pa ā€˜to. Ending this night by celebrating our achievements—especially yours this 2026—made everything more meaningful.

Thank you, Mother, for always being with me in good times and bad times. Thank you for always introducing me to another side of the world and for pushing me out of my comfort zone. I’m always happy to be by your side.

I love you so much, Mom. Always.

Stepping Out of Our Comfort Zone

This is not my first time going to a club.
But this is my first time going with Abby and Macmac—and it hits different.

I was the one who suggested that we go out and watch drag performances. We’re all fans of Drag Race, and I really wanted them to experience it live. Especially Abby. And seeing that happen? So beautiful. So fun. So worth it.

Watching my friends’ reactions while the drag queens were performing made me so happy. The energy, the talent, the confidence—grabe. You can really feel the art, the passion, and the freedom on that stage. Nakaka-inspire.

Our friendship is usually simple. Coffee talks. Kape-kape. Kwentuhan. And I love that. But this night reminded me that sometimes, we also need to step out. Lumabas sa comfort zone. Try something new. Feel something different.

Because when we do, we get to express ourselves more. We grow. We connect deeper. And we create memories like this.

I’m really grateful for this night—and yes, I want to do it again with them.

A New Year I’ll Always Remember

It’s already February, but I still want to share this.

This is my first time celebrating New Year in another house, with another family. And honestly… it was amazing. It was wonderful. Full of surprises. Everything felt so warm and real.

Celebrating New Year with Jez's family is such a blessing. The experience felt surreal. The fireworks, the laughter, and seeing how much love they have for each other—it touched my heart. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam. The energy was so good, so positive, so pure.

This New Year was very unique for me. I felt so happy and so thankful. I’m really grateful that I got to welcome the New Year with them, especially with Jez. Sharing that moment with him means so much to me.

Funny thing is, when I welcomed 2026, I didn’t eat grapes. But when I welcomed 2025, I did—sa office pa, under the computer table. And maybe it’s true… maybe 2025 really answered my wish. That year gave me moments like this.

So yes, no grapes this time—and that’s okay.
Because this New Year already felt like a blessing.

A Christmas That Touched My Heart

I know it’s been a long time. I know I’m late to post this. But I still want to share it.

Christmas 2025 is one of the most beautiful and memorable Christmas I’ve ever had.

For the past years, Christmas felt like just another normal day for me. I was working in a call center, and every Christmas, I needed to be on-site. I thought that’s just how life is. Work, sleep, repeat. No celebration. No pause.

But Christmas 2025 was different.

I was finally able to celebrate Christmas again with my family. And wow… it reminded me of what Christmas really means. Being with them, laughing, eating together, and just being present—it was something I didn’t know I missed this much.

This year, I was also able to give gifts to my family. Simple gifts, but they came from my heart. I was able to share the blessings I received in 2025. And honestly, that feeling is priceless.

2025 was a rollercoaster for me. So many ups and downs. But ending the year and celebrating Christmas with my family felt like a reward, like a blessing from God.

Totoo talaga—walang makakapantay sa Pasko ng Pinas, at walang makakapantay sa Pasko kapag kasama mo ang pamilya mo. Our Christmas wasn’t fancy. Hindi sosyal. But it was full of love, care, and joy. And that’s what made it special.

This Christmas really stayed in my heart. Core memory talaga.

It’s a bit sad because mommy is no longer with us. But still, being with my lolo, lola, tito, tita, and cousins made everything feel warm and complete in its own way. Sobrang solid ng moments.

I’m grateful. So grateful.

I pray that this coming 2026, we will be complete and even happier.
Thank you, 2025 Christmas. You reminded me what really matters.

Gifts don’t need perfect timing or grand moments—just honest intention.
Sometimes the simplest gesture means the most because it shows you were remembered.
In the end, it’s never about the gift itself, but the sincerity that comes with it.

Finding Peace in the Past

There are days when life feels a little too heavy, a little too fast, and a little too complicated. And whenever I feel sad or overwhelmed, I always find myself going back to old films. Somehow, they give me peace, calmness, and even a quiet kind of joy.

There’s something magical about watching restored classics from ABS-CBN or even old telenovelas. I can’t fully explain it—but the feeling hits different. It’s like stepping into a world where life was simpler, lighter, and more genuine. Even when the scenes are dramatic, there’s still a softness in them… a kind of warmth that today’s world seems to have forgotten.

And it’s not just Filipino films. Even old movies from other countries give me the same comfort. There’s something in the way they were made—the storytelling, the pacing, the simplicity—that feels like a breath of fresh air.

Maybe life wasn’t really easier back then… or maybe it was. But what I know is this: old films remind me that beauty exists in simple things, that peace can be found in the quiet, and that joy doesn’t always need to be loud.

In a world that keeps getting more complicated, sometimes the best escape is going back to the classics—back to stories that remind us of who we are, what truly matters, and how beautiful simplicity can be.

Here’s to finding peace in the little things, the old things, and the things that make our hearts feel at home.

Looking Back, Loving Forward

Looking back at my 2013 photos and comparing them to me in 2025… wow. I’m honestly amazed at how much I’ve changed. Not everyone knows this, but I was bullied before. My self-esteem was really low. I tried my best with hygiene even back in high school, but still, I didn’t feel confident. And honestly, when I see my old pictures, I can’t help but laugh a bit at how I looked.

During our pictorial in Thailand, I wore something similar to my high school uniform. And when I compared the photos… grabe. I didn’t realize how big the change was. I really thought I looked okay back then, but looking at myself now, I can say I’ve grown so much — inside and out.

This made me proud of myself. I learned how to take care of myself better. I give myself what I need now, things I didn’t know how to give myself before. And I’m happy that I bloomed in my own time.

Puberty hits — not always fast, not always early, but it happens. And honestly, it hits harder when you finally learn how to love and take care of yourself.

So here’s my reminder to anyone reading this: taking care of yourself is important. When you take care of yourself, you don’t just look better — you feel better. You grow. You heal. You bloom.

And trust me… the glow-up feels good. 🌱✨
