I will be wrapping up the invitation phase and finalize the meet and greet schedule this coming Nov 2, 2025, Sunday. After that I will proceed to schedule the following pre-bootcamp requirements below (see 1 and 2). Kaya kung naghihintay ka ng last minute bago i-follow yung mga instructions at hindi mo pa din nababasa mga follow-up emails ko, I'm sorry pero baka sa next year na lang ikaw. Need ko na simulan ang next phase.

I want to have a meet and greet online before the activities below. I will work on the schedule this weekend para dito, kaya stay informed sa FB at email. It's better to know each of you so that we can start to get comfortable with each other. Mahirap yung awkward kayong magtanong, mahihirapan kayo matuto. Sana nag post na lang ako ng YouTube video at panoorin nyo na lang kung di kayo magtatanong.

1. Programming Fundamentals Day 1 and Day 2 (November)
- Not everyone is required to attend but everyone is required to submit the results of the activities. If you are that confident that you know the fundamentals, everyone will receive a link to the activities and everyone should be able to finish the activities. I will check the results. If you are not sure you can do the activities by yourself, it's better to just attend and listen so that your mind is refreshed and will have a better chance at completing the activities. I have to be strict because I care about all of you. What's the point of wasting all our time if you're not serious about learning. Please understand.

Sa madaling salita, lahat kelangang mag submit ng results ng activity. Kung kelangang magtanong, magtanong. Kaya mas maigi mag join na lang para makapag tanong kesa gawin mo mag isa tapos di mo matapos. Ganito ang magiging format ng bootcamp natin from Week 1 to Week 12, kaya parang dry run na din ito.

2. Week 0 - Setup and Configuration of your Laptop/Desktop (December)
- Everyone is required to attend because we will setup everything needed to ensure a better chance of not having any issues while doing activities. I cannot look after your errors one by one, especially if its not related to the topic. Like when the activity is throwing some errors on your machine and the rest are doing fine. It just means you are missing something which could have been prevented by pre-configuring everything before week 1.

Kahit naka set-up na machine mo, attend ka na din para ma check natin kung kumpleto mga naka install and pare pareho setup natin. Lalo na mga version ng naka install, mas maganda mag setup ka ng fresh Python environment na kapareho ng lahat para hindi ka magkaroon ng issue pag iba pala version mo. Hindi na natin maaayos yan sa actual bootcamp kasi focused na tayo sa pag aaral.

Good morning people. How's your morning?

I had a nice morning while waiting for a possible work engagement, drinking coffee, and reading my feeds. A post from Sir Doc Ligot and another one from Hyro P. Aguinaldo (https://web.facebook.com/hyro.aguinaldo/posts/pfbid02R86EfXozyP3DiNUpCLD3DeoanacYSndZj8NiiALviUqfWuo3PazA275y55Yk7xNql) struck me and lead me to reflect on what I've already watched from the so-called Bayani-Verse. Expect spoilers when you read their posts.

The goal of the three films, I think, is to serve as a reflection of our own downfall as a nation. Luna's Rage, Goyo's Vanity, and Quezon's Ego show us that even as heroes, these qualities could be our downfall. We should not only learn from their heroism, but also from their downfall—because it is in their failures that we see the warnings meant for us today.

How about, instead of rage and arrogance, we start having empathy for the poor people who deserve a taste of life—those who are focused more on surviving rather than living. Instead of vanity and blind loyalty, we start questioning ourselves about what we really need to fill our hearts and stop doing things just to look good and please people. And instead of ego and pride, we humbly accept our own faults and reflect. To start changing the system, we all need to change ourselves.

Instead of focusing on corrupt individuals, we should focus on changing the corrupt system. After all, people are merely variables, vulnerable to being corrupted by a system that is already broken.

No matter which political faction we support, we are only changing the colors of our stain. Corruption has become the norm, leaving us with nothing but lesser‑evil choices.

What needs to change? Why? How?
When should we change? Now.

I’ve also emailed people I plan to remove and given them one last chance to reply. If they don’t respond, I’ll post the available spots in other groups to find more committed attendees. UPDATES on the Python Bootcamp

Do to unfortunate events, I would need to move the Week 0 of the Python Bootcamp. This is supposed to be the configuration / preparation phase of the bootcamp. I apologise for those who are excited for this one.

I will be hosting another set of Programming Fundamentals session in the coming days, so if you want to attend this before but was not able to, this is for you. I will divide it into 2-days of 3 hours each.
