Hang out with and beneath the trees for an afternoon of sharing merienda, stories and writing inspired by food, with reflection and conversation prompts from  (from/for our upcoming food-themed deck)! 😋

Love comes in many different flavors and forms.

It can come in small gifts, or grand gestures. In a meme, a song, a video that says: “Naalala kita dito.”

It can come in a warm bowl of sinigang, or your favorite ice cream.

In words of affirmation, or in a silence that tells you: “Di ka mag-isa. Nandito ako.”

Kilig is not just for romantic partners or prospects. It can also come from friends. Friends who can be kilig with us and for us. Who hype us or celebrate us, and make sure we remember significant moments we may have otherwise downplayed.

More often than we realize, love also comes from strangers just trying to be good neighbors, citizens and humans.

Love gives us space for our shared grief and joy, in song and in dance, in who we are now and who we have yet to become.
