Robbers Wrapped in Tape Like "Teletubbies" After Botched Indonesian Heist
A routine burglary in Indonesia took a bizarre turn when local residents thwarted two thieves and chose a highly unconventional method of restraint: wrapping them head-to-toe in bright orange adhesive tape.
Instead of merely holding the suspects until authorities arrived, the vigilante crowd transformed the duo into an eerie, real-life version of the Teletubbies, even going so far as to fashion a makeshift antenna on top of one suspect's head.
A Viral Sensation and Global Debate
Footage of the taped-up criminals was captured and posted by the social media account . The video quickly exploded across the internet, leaving viewers deeply divided:
The Amused: Many users flooded the comments with jokes, unable to contain their laughter at the absurd, brightly colored "costumes."
The Concerned: Others questioned the ethics of the situation, debating whether this brand of public humiliation and vigilante justice crossed a line.
The Outcome: While the two men were eventually handed over to the police for their crimes, it's safe to say they walked away with a bizarre memory, and a viral legacy, they won't soon forget.
