It's our Kyushu-Hiroshima vlog series finale!

For this vlog, we are exploring the beautiful Miyajima Island, just ten minutes away from the mainland.
- Itsukushima Shrine - a UNESCO heritage site, famous for the "floating" torii gate.
- Senjokaku Hall - an expansive, historic wooden hall with beautiful views of the island.
- Omotesando Shopping Street - a vibrant shopping street where you can try their famous Momiji Manju dessert!

After this, we are going back to Hiroshima City to visit the Orizuru Tower. It features the Hiroshima Hills rooftop observation deck, the interactive Orizuru Square, and the symbolic Orizuru Wall filled with millions of origami paper cranes.

Thank you for supporting me in this vlog series!
Where are we heading next? Stay tuned!

Hi Everyone! Let's step into the history of Hiroshima.

In this vlog, we will take a tour through the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and museum to study the past and reflect on its powerful message of global peace.
- Peace Memorial Museum - contains personal artefacts, survivor testimonies, and other documented information about the 1945 Hiroshima bombing.
- Victims Memorial Cenotaph - designed by renowned architect Kenzo Tange, this honors all victims of the bombing, regardless of nationality.
- Children's Peace Monument - this memorial is dedicated to Sadako Sasaki, and thousands of children who perished from the bombing. Sadako Sasaki is famous for folding 1,000 origami cranes hoping to grant her wish of recovering from leukemia, a disease she acquired from the atomic bombing radiation.
- Flame of Peace - a continuously burning monument in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park that symbolizes the global desire for a nuclear-free world.
- Atomic Bomb Dome - a UNESCO World Heritage site, it's the most enduring symbol of the devastating impact of the world's first atomic bombing.

Some graphic images of war victims are included. Viewer discretion is advised.

Konnichiwa!
Today, we are going to the coastal city of Fukutsu in Fukuoka to experience the magical view of Hikari No Michi, or The Path of Light. This is at Miyajidake Shrine.

Twice a year, the setting sun aligns perfectly with the shrine’s steps, creating a glowing golden path straight to the ocean. Will we experience this magical event? Watch the vlog to find out!
