Being authentically Catholic is not primarily
about preserving traditional externals.
It is about remaining in humble communion with the Church established by Christ, including communion with the Pope,
rather than making oneself the final authority on Catholic truth.
The SSPX remains in an irregular canonical situation, and the six recently ordained bishops incurred excommunication as a consequence of their episcopal ordinations without papal mandate.
