Such an inspiration! 😍 A 12-year-old boy exploring Europe with his hardworking single mom. Proof that love, sacrifice, and determination can take you anywhere. ✨ Don’t mind the bashers. ☺️

A 12-year-old Filipino, along with his mom, finished travelling all the countries in Europe last July 12, 2025, making him the “Youngest Filipino to travel the Europe” as verified by the Filipino World Travelers (FWT) and international travel verification authority NomadMania.

Wyatt Maktrav, now 13 years old, and his mother, Kaila, also attempted to submit the feat to Guinness World Records in hopes of surpassing the current title holders, Norwegian twins Sander and Mathias Rolen, who achieved the milestone at age 17 in October 2023.

Unfortunately, due to the recent age restriction, Guinness did not accept Wyatt’s application.

“But Guinness or not, thank you pa rin sa community namin,” Kaila noted.

MJ LASTIMOSA RAISES CONCERN OVER EXPENSIVE LOCAL AIRFARE TO SIARGAO

Former Miss Universe Philippines MJ Lastimosa expressed surprise at the steep cost of domestic flights after checking prices for a round-trip ticket to Siargao—around ₱40,000. On X, she wrote,
"Last time I've been to Siargao was pre pandemic pa. So lately I [am] kinda considering visiting the island again. The date I was checking would be around 40k round trip for one person."

She added,
"Ang pricey nya! Wala ba tayong batas na magreregulate ng mga ganito? Abuso pero wala kang choice kasi wala din naman ibang option."

Her post struck a chord with many netizens who shared similar frustrations. One commented,
"Imagine from SG to Taiwan, 6K. SG to Davao, 15K pesos. Kaya mas napapadalas gala ko sa neighbouring countries kesa umuwi sa Pinas."

Another added,
"Tapos laging sasabihin Pilipinas na muna or support local. Flight fare mo pa lang buong gastos mo na sa ibang bansa."

The viral discussion reignited calls for more affordable domestic travel and better options to support local tourism.

He’s not asking, “Can you afford it?” He’s asking, “Do you believe Me?"

You look at your budget and think, “How, Lord?” But here’s what I’m learning: when God gives you a dream that doesn’t match your bank account, He’s not checking your finances. He’s looking at your faith.

If you’re in a season where the dream looks bigger than your resources, don’t shrink the dream... stretch your faith.

You can get that dream house. You can get that degree. You can get that license. You can get that career.

God is the ultimate provider, and He knows how to make a way where there seems to be none.
