Resumption of the System of Continuing Registration of Voters
for the November 2, 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections
Registration Period: October 20, 2025 – May 18, 2026
Days Open: Mondays to Saturdays, including holidays
Except on the following dates:
• November 1, 2025 – All Saints’ Day
• December 24, 2025 – Christmas Eve
• December 25, 2025 – Christmas Day
• December 30, 2025 – Rizal Day
• December 31, 2025 – Last Day of the Year
• January 1, 2026 – New Year’s Day
• April 2, 2026 – Maundy Thursday
• April 3, 2026 – Good Friday
• April 4, 2026 – Black Saturday
(Or as may otherwise be declared by the Commission)

✅ New Registration
✅ Transfer of Registration Record (within the municipality/city or to another)
✅ Transfer from Foreign Post to Local (for overseas voters returning to the Philippines)
✅ Reactivation of Registration Record
✅ Correction of Entries in the Voters’ Record
✅ Change of Civil Status

Who May Register?
For Barangay Elections:
• Must be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day
• Must be a resident of the Philippines for at least 1 year and a resident of the place where you intend to vote for at least 6 months before Election Day
• Must not be disqualified by law
For Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Elections:
• Must be at least 15 years old but less than 30 years old on or before Election Day
• Must be a resident of the barangay for at least 6 months before Election Day
• Must not be disqualified by law

Requirements for Registration
Bring one (1) photocopy of any valid government-issued ID from the list below:
• PhilSys (National ID)
• Postal ID
• PWD ID
• Student ID or Library Card (signed by school authority)
• Senior Citizen ID
• Driver’s License / Student Permit (LTO)
• NBI Clearance
• Philippine Passport
• SSS / GSIS / UMID ID
• IBP ID
• PRC License
• NCIP Certificate of Confirmation (for ICCs/IPs)
• Any other government-issued ID with the applicant’s photograph and signature
⚠️ Not accepted as valid IDs:
Barangay ID/Certification, Cedula, Company ID, and PNP Clearance
⚠️ For Correction of Entries or Change of Civil Status:
Please also bring a photocopy of your birth certificate and/or marriage contract
