The phenomenon of receiving less support from people who know you while vlogging can be attributed to various factors. Firstly, people who know you personally may not be interested in the subject you are vlogging about. Secondly, they may feel uncomfortable watching you talk about personal or private issues on a public platform. Thirdly, they may perceive vlogging as a vanity project or a waste of time, and therefore, are less likely to support or encourage you.

On the other hand, strangers who watch your vlogs may be interested in your content, find it educational or entertaining, and appreciate your efforts. They are not biased by any prior knowledge or preconceived opinions of you, and therefore, are more open to accepting and supporting your journey.
