August 3,2024|| Umapaw ang tubig at nakakaranas ng baha sa ilang residente sa bahagi ng Brgy. Punang,Sofronio Española,Palawan ngayong araw at nahihirapan SIlang lumabas.

Dahil sa mababa ang area ay posibleng makakaranas sa susunod na tag-ulan o bagyo!

|| Last July 12, 2024, personnel of Coast Guard Sub-station Taytay together with Coast Guard Marine Environmental Protection Enforcement and Response Unit-Northern Palawan and PNP Maritime Group-Taytay rendered assistance to Municipal Agriculture Office-Fisheries, LAMAVE Conservation International Philippines and Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) during the conduct of necropsy of found Lifeless Dugong (Sea Cow) at the shoreline of Pavillion Island, Taytay, Palawan.

The said mammal was one and a half yards in length and approximately more or less 300 kgs in weight. Further, after conducting necropsy and collecting samples, the team immediately buried the said mammal for proper disposition.

Nai-surrender ni Bb. Jacqueline Laudan Nicdao na mula sa So. Cabigsing, Brgy. Buena Suerte sa Office of the Municipal Mayor ang wallet na may cash na nagkakahalagang halos 50,000, mga credit cards, mga ID, at iba pang valuables ni Bb. Fatima Lantud Janah Dimaporo na mula Iligan City.

Ang nasabing wallet ay napulot sa harap ng Metrobank - El Nido mga bandang alas-onse ng umaga. Dinala ni Bb. Jacqueline ang wallet sa MMO at agad namang umaksyon si Exec. Assistant PLt/Col Silverio Bacsa (Ret) at sinubukang tawagan si Bb. Fatima. Saludo po kami sa inyong katapatan! Mamamayang El Nido, tapat kahit kanino! 🫶

ICYMI: On April 26, 2023, Coast Guard Station Northern Palawan deployed its personnel and conducted a Search and Rescue operation on the submerged FBCA MARKLENT that encountered two successive waves and caused them to dip between the vicinity waters off Big Lagoon Island and Helicopter Island, El Nido, Palawan. Immediately upon arriving at the said area, the team rescued and rendered necessary assistance to the three (3) persons onboard the said FBCA and directly transferred to MB Excalibur, and towed the said FBCA en route to Brgy. Corong-Corong.

Hence, CGS Northern Palawan advised the boat captain of FBCA MARKLENT to always check the seaworthiness of their boat at all times to ensure safe navigation and prevent untoward incidents from happening.
