Nagtabon Beach: My Take on the “Killer Beach” Story
A recent drowning incident at Nagtabon Beach has sparked concern.
Nagtabon is a truly beautiful place, where people come to unwind, breathe, and release stress after a long, tiring day. It has created countless peaceful moments and cherished memories. Let’s not condemn the place because of what happened.
This is my take on what some call a “killer beach”: I don’t believe it is. No beach is inherently a killer.
We see the conditions, we choose to enter, and we are accountable for the risks we take.
Nagtabon is an open beach, not a resort.
This is not to judge, but to remind: Maraming insidente ang nangyayari kapag ka binaliwala ang mga paalala. Minsan dahil na sobrahan tayo sa kompaynsa, kulang sa kaalaman or kung hindi man ay nakainom.
Let this be an eye-opener for all of us. Respect the water. Know your limits. Stay alert.
Prayers and deepest condolences to the family. 🙏
