๐—œ๐—ก ๐—ฃ๐—›๐—ข๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฆ |On January 7, 2025, the College of Education and Arts conducted a seminar-workshop themed โ€œBuilding a Culture of Inquiry in Educationโ€. The event was organized to prepare students for their upcoming research endeavors.

The occasion was made possible through the efforts and shared knowledge of the speaker, Dr. Joseph Balasing and Sr. Josmarie Salamania, OP, who serves as the Dean of the College of Education and Arts.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š|| Grade 12 HUMSS students from Palawan National School completed their Site Visitation Activity on January 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Holy Trinity University to gain workplace exposure as part of their immersion requirements, with assistance provided by Student Council officers to help facilitate the event.

A total of 88 students explored career paths in education, while 67 students focused on nursing or medical-related professions. Participants observed the school site, facilities, and teaching materials used in instruction.

Holy Trinity University High School Batch โ€™86 marks its 40th anniversary, headed by Dr. Jesus Ong, the class salutatorian.
The alumni were greeted by students and staff, and shown around campus and its growth by the University President Sr. Mary Ann Allag, OP, and the Vice President for Finance Sr. Bernardita Dela Cruz, OP.
The event was made possible thanks to Ms. Joyce Corazon Badenas, the Alumni Coordinator, under the guidance of Dr. Cristina G. Buenafe, the Alumni President.

The event was attended by students from all year levels of CHNS. It also highlighted the formal turnover of leadership following the graduation of the outgoing CHNS President, Mr. Jan Ernie Rosales, with Ms. Mary Christine Fonte, formally assuming the role as part of the leadership transition within the department.

Graduating students from various departments gathered in prayer and thanksgiving, reflecting on their academic journey and seeking guidance as they prepare to formally conclude their studies. The solemn celebration echoed the graduation theme, โ€œPilgrims of Hope, Truth, and Compassion,โ€ marking a meaningful prelude to the Commencement Exercises.

On December 15, 2025, the College of Education and Arts held its 9th Pinning and Candle Lighting Ceremony with a theme of, โ€œIgnited to Serve: Illuminating Minds Through Faith and Education.โ€ The momentous occasion aims to celebrate the remarkable journey of these future educators in the noble pursuit of knowledge and art of teaching.
The event would not be possible without the efforts of the pre-service teachers and their supervisor, Prof. Petronila Marcela Sheilah D. Doctor. Several key personnel attended to offer their blessings, led by Sr. Mary Ann Allag, OP, the university president; Dr. Loreta I. Homo, PhD, the Vice President of Academic Affairs; Sr. Josmarie Salamania, OP, the dean of the College of Education and Arts; Prof. Ruth B. Oriel, the adviser of the English majors; joined by the parents and friends to celebrate the milestone with the honorees.
With a promising future ahead, the pre-service teachers take another step toward their vocation. Once again, congratulations to our newly pinned pre-service teachers.

Graduates from various departments gathered early Sunday morning to celebrate the culmination of their academic journey, guided by the theme โ€œPilgrims of Hope, Truth, and Compassion.โ€ The ceremony marked a significant milestone as students officially stepped into a new chapter of their professional and personal lives.

๐—œ๐—ก ๐—ฃ๐—›๐—ข๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฆ | The ITeach Organization, together with Maโ€™am Ivy O. Banua, Community Extension Service In-Charge, and Dr. Shiela D. Doctor, extended their support during the Culminating Activity of the BASA-BATA Program at Mangingisda Elementary School on December 12, 2025. The program, which stands for BASA-BATA: Building and Strengthening Abilities โ€” Building a Truly Able Reader, highlights the collective effort to enhance the reading skills of young learners. Officers and internship students who participated in previous sessions also joined the event, marking a successful conclusion to this meaningful literacy initiative.
