But this trip has been long overdue — and finally, na-upload ko na rin! 🎉
📍 Tabon Cave at Lipuun Point, Quezon, Palawan
📅 Visited last June 5, 2025
Yes mga Vebs, nakarating din tayo sa birthplace of Philippine civilization!
We walked the new boardwalk trail — sobrang scenic, lakas maka-core memory! 🌿🪨

✨ What is Tabon Cave?
Home of the famous Tabon Man, this place is often called the “Cradle of Philippine Civilization”. It’s a series of caves that hold ancient burial sites, stone tools, and pottery dating back thousands of years. Feeling mo talaga nasa National Geographic ka, Vebs!

✨ HOW TO GET THERE:
1. Drive to Quezon town proper (about 2–3 hours from Puerto Princesa City).
2. From town, continue the drive to Lipuun Point — around 30–40 minutes of scenic road trip!
3. No need for boat rides anymore! The newly constructed boardwalk will guide you through the mangroves and forests leading to the cave entrance.

🎟️ HOW TO BOOK:
✔️ Book through the Quezon Municipal Tourism Office (best done in advance!)
✔️ You’ll be assigned a licensed tour guide
✔️ Entrance fees apply (usually around ₱20–₱50)
✔️ Tour hours: typically 8AM to 3PM
📞 You can coordinate directly at the Quezon Tourism page or visit the LGU Tourism Office when you arrive.

Caves You Can Explore:
🕳️ Tabon Cave Proper – where the famous Tabon Man remains were found!
🕳️ Diwata Cave – sacred to the locals
🕳️ Igang Cave – known for its large chambers and dramatic rock formations
🕳️ Liyang Cave – mysterious and full of local stories
These caves are part of a protected archaeological reservation, so expect a guided tour filled with history, nature, and that “wow, ang galing ng ancestors natin” feeling. 😍

The trek includes a lot of akyat-baba (stairs, rocks, and nature galore), so wear comfy shoes, bring water, and be mentally and physically ready. Di ‘to pabebe lakad, mga Vebs! 😅💪
