Bayanihan Spirit Shines as Sinippil ES Parents Lead Monthly School Clean-Up Drive

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY — SPTA Officers and Parents of Sinippil Elementary School joined forces today, July 30, 2026, for its monthly school maintenance clean-up drive to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for learners.

The school grounds buzzed with activity early this morning as members of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) arrived equipped with brooms and cutting the grasses, pruning trees, mowing lawns, trimming overgrown bushes, clearing drainage pathways and sorting garbage and clearing stagnant water to prevent mosquito breeding.

Teacher In-Charge, Roberto Alicum expressed immense gratitude for the overwhelming turnout of the community.
"Our monthly clean-up drive proves that education is a collaborative effort. When parents actively care for our school.” said Mr. Alicum

The monthly clean-up event was part of the school's project program. It seeks to eliminate health hazards such as dengue while encouraging shared accountability between the school and the Sinippil community. The school was completely refreshed and ready for the upcoming week of classes, demonstrating the unbreakable spirit of bayanihan.

SINIPPIL ES CELEBRATES NUTRITION MONTH WITH ZERO CLASS DISRUPTIONS

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY — Sinippil Elementary School officially concluded its month-long 2026 National Nutrition Month celebration on Tuesday, with no reported classroom disruptions. Following the guidelines of DepEd Order No. 9 s. In 2026, the school prohibited school-wide parades and non-instructional daytime contests that have traditionally diverted learners' attention away from their studies.

This year's theme is "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!" “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”
The Faculty transitioned from traditional, day-long school events to class-integrated approach. Academic disruptions were completely avoided by incorporating nutrition-themed such as reading tasks, poster-making activities, drawing and coloring vegetables and fruits, as well as scientific discussions, directly into existing subject blocks such as Science, English, and MAPEH.

Meanwhile, the school's feeding program—which provided nutritious meals to learners—was strategically relocated to regular lunch periods within individual classrooms. Parents actively participated and praised the school for keeping children fed, educated, and on track with their academic schedules.

"Every minute of learning is very important," said Teacher In-Charge Roberto V. Alicum. "Through the cooperation of our fellow teachers and cooperative parents, we can achieve the health of ours.”

Aside from classroom integrations, performance task in MAPEH of the learners were achieved. They presented their creative attire on Vegies and Fruits themed after the class.

Sinippil ES Honors July RDNEB Cleanliness Champions

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY—Sinippil Elementary School awarded a Grade VI pupil, Zyner Ramos, and Ma’am Ella Mae G. Cabello, Teacher I, as the school's cleanest for the month of July 2026 during a special recognition ceremony on Project RDNEB (Region 02 Development: Nurturing Exquisite Behavior), honoring two outstanding individuals who perfectly mirror the month's core value: Cleanliness (Kalinisan) today at the flagpole area.

The awards were given as part of the school's intensified RDNEB campaign, localized discipline initiative aimed at keeping the learning environment clean, healthy, and green.
According to Teacher In-Charge Roberto V. Alicum, this month's winners were chosen based on their daily actions and ability to inspire those around them.

Mrs. Cabello was recognized for exemplary classroom waste segregation and maintaining a clean instructional space. Zyner Ramos, along with a Grade VI learner, received award for organizing daily cleaning drives and encouraging his peers to dispose of trash properly.

Teacher In Charge Roberto Alicum observed a significant reduction in school litter throughout July as a result of the duo's active environmental leadership. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates, setting a high standard of environmental responsibility for every individual.

“Cleanliness is the most important practice that we can do to help the ecosystem," said Mr. Alicum.

Sinippil ES Celebrates Time Consciousness, honors Teachers and Learners

SInippil, Cauayan City — In a resounding celebration of discipline and integrity, Sinippil Elementary School officially awarded teacher Veida Gween M. Bartolome and exemplary learners today, July 27, 2026, for their exceptional advocacy of time consciousness during the First Term of School Year 2026-2027.

The special awarding ceremony highlighted the school's active implementation of Project WATCH (We Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty), a joint Department of Education (DepEd) initiative aimed at instilling values of punctuality and ethical character in schools.

Mrs. Bartolome was highly commended for her proactive classroom teacher that seamlessly integrated time management into daily routines, serving as an exceptional role model for both her peers and learners. SINIPPIL ES LAUNCHES CLIMATE CARAVAN, TREE PLANTING DRIVE

CAUAYAN CITY, — Sinippil Elementary School successfully staged its 2026 Climate Change Caravan and Tree Planting Activity today, July 15, 2026, to promote environmental stewardship and combat localized global warming.

The joint initiative drew active participation from the school's faculty and staff, alongside student leaders from the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O).

The event kicked off with an early morning climate caravan around the school grounds and neighboring community areas. Student leaders from SELG and YES-O actively participated on the tree planting caravan within the school perimeter. Guided by the faculty and staff, the Learner officers planted fruit-bearing and native tree saplings. These trees are intended to provide shade, prevent soil erosion, and lower campus temperatures during intense summer months.

Teacher In-Charge, Roberto V. Alicum emphasized that the activity goes beyond a single-day event. The YES-O officers have been tasked with implementing a daily monitoring schedule to water and nurture the saplings.

"The most crucial way to fight climate change is to plant trees," Mr. Alicum stated.

SINIPPIL, LUNGSOD NG CAUAYAN — Nagsagawa ngayon, Hulyo 14, 2026, si Dr. Irene Salvador, Education Program Supervisor I (EPS-I) sa Filipino, ng pormal na pamamahalang pampagtuturo (instructional supervision) at pagmamasid sa silid-aralan (classroom observation) sa Mababang Paaralan ng Sinippil (Sinippil Elementary School).

Ang pagsubaybay sa antas ng dibisyon ay nakatuon sa pagpapatupad ng mga estratehiya sa pagtuturong multi-grade. Partikular nitong sinuri ang pinagsamang klase sa Filipino ng Baitang 5 at 6 na pinamamahalaan ni Ginang Jeremy Gamad. Kasama ang Gurong-namamahala na si Sir Roberto Alicum, na katuwang sa malawakang pagmamasid sa silid-aralan at pagbibigay ng tulong-teknikal (technical assistance) sa g**o.
Sinaliksik at sinuri ng koponan ang sesyon gamit ang mga pamantayang kagamitan sa pagmamasid ng DepEd (DepEd classroom observation tools), kung saan naitampok ang ilang natatanging pamamaraan.

Sinulit ni Ginang Gamad ang oras ng pagtuturo sa pamamagitan ng maayos na paglilipat ng mga gawain sa pagitan ng mga mag-aaral ng Baitang 5 at Baitang 6 nang walang anumang patlang sa pagtuturo. Ang magkahiwalay at naisalokal na mga activity sheet ay tumugon nang sabay sa mga natatanging kasanayan na kinakailangan para sa bawat antas ng baitang.

SINIPPIL ES CELEBRATES RDNEB JUNE VALUE; GAMMAD, BITE HONORED FOR EMBODYING SELF-ESTEEM

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY — In a vibrant culmination of this month's character-building initiative, Sinippil Elementary School successfully wrapped up its June implementation of Project RDNEB (Region 02 Development: Nurturing Exquisite Behavior), honoring two outstanding individuals who perfectly mirror the month's core value: Self-Esteem (Pagpapahalaga sa Sarili) today at the flag pole area.

Teacher Jeremy Gammad and learner Athena Bite were officially awarded by the Teacher In-Charge for demonstrating an exemplary sense of self-worth and for inspiring their peers to embrace their own unique strengths and capabilities.
The month-long June campaign emphasized teaching learners to look inward, value their unique individuality, and use their confidence to positively impact others.

According to Teacher In-Charge Roberto V. Alicum, this month's winners were chosen based on their daily decisions and abilities to inspire those around them. Teacher Jeremy Gammad received excellent praise for incorporating positive self-affirmation into her everyday classes, by establishing a secure, inclusive learning atmosphere in which every child feels appreciated. Her proactive tutoring helped hesitant learners break out of their shells, demonstrating the importance of strong self-esteem for academic and emotional development.

On the other hand, Athena Bite stood out among the learners in the school. Bite constantly showed extraordinary maturity and confidence, as well as a high sense of self-worth. She actively encouraged her classmates to take pride in their talents (Gymnastic) and face classroom challenges without fear, successfully turning individual self-esteem into a tool for peer empowerment.

Project RDNEB remains a cornerstone initiative in DepEd Region 02, guiding schools in systematic positive behavior development. Sinippil Elementary School hopes to make abstract principles tangible and reproducible for all students by recognizing localized "champions of character" such as Gammad and Bite.

"When our teachers set a good example and our learners encourage one another, the core values come to life," Alicum stated during the ceremony. "Teacher Jeremy and Athena show us that pagpapahalaga sa sarili is not about being prideful, but about knowing your value so well that you can help others discover theirs."

Sinippil Elementary School is set to transition its flag-raising ceremonies and classroom modules into July now that the June success reports have been finalized which will focus on the core value of Cleanliness (Kalinisan).

SDO CAUAYAN CITY MONITORS LEARNING RESOURCE UTILIZATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF SLRC AT SINIPPIL ES

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY — Education Program Supervisor Sir. Alexander Geronimo, alongside Ma'am Junes Saquing and Sir Alexander Barasi, conducted a joint monitoring, evaluation, and technical assistance field visit at Sinippil Elementary School today.

The monitoring and evaluation (M&E) initiative by the SDO Cauayan LRMDS team focused heavily on tracking the utilization of learning resources recently delivered to the school. Inspected classrooms to observe how teachers integrate and used these state-provided materials into their daily lessons to boost learners’ literacy and engagement.

Simultaneously, the monitoring team offered essential technical assistance to the school in establishing its new School Learning Resource Center. Sir. Geronimo and his team assisted Teacher In-Charge Roberto Alicum in carefully categorizing books, organizing multimedia materials, and developing a practical area that promotes autonomous reading in school and at home.

Sinippil Elementary School teachers expressed gratitude for the hands-on guidance, noting that the technical assistance will help them maximize their newly acquired instructional tools.

“Use the textbooks and Learning resources so that the learners’ easy to access and enjoy the interactive lesson.” said Sr. Geronimo.

Sinippil ES Parents, SPTA Officers Spearhead Plastic Bottle Upcycling Campaign

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY — Armed with scissors, paintbrushes, paints, and sacks of discarded soda containers, Sinippil Elementary School's School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) officers and active parents gathered today to transform environmental waste into a striking visual art display, transforming discarded plastic bottles into colorful decorative flowers.

The collaborative eco-project, called "Petals from Plastics," addresses the growing concern about single-use plastics by upcycling them into bright, long-lasting floral decorations for the campus gardens and walks.

Parents spent the day collecting plastic bottles, cutting, and molding plastic bottles into various floral patterns on the school grounds, making it an open-air workshop. SPTA President Joel Ramos underlined that the endeavor is more than just school decorating. “We wanted to give our children a concrete example of what environmental protection looks like," Ramos said.

The parent-volunteers painted hundreds of handmade flowers, which are currently being installed as "permanent blooms" around the school's Gulayan sa Paaralan and school pathways, creating an eco-friendly ambiance meant to inspire SES learners.

Roberto V. Alicum, Teacher In-Charge, praised the initiative of Sinippil parents and the SPTA officers in supporting environmental awareness activities. "When our learners see their own parents actively recycling and taking care of the campus ecosystem, it leaves a lasting impression. This community partnership is vital in helping us establish a trash-free, environment-friendly school culture."
