Malagong Gulayan sa Sinippil Elementary School, Susi sa Wastong Nutrisyon ng Kabataan

Umabot na sa yugto ng masaganang paglago ang mga gulay sa Sinippil Elementary School. Ang kanilang Project HARVEST ay bahagi ng pambansang programa na Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP). Layunin nitong itaguyod ang seguridad sa pagkain at wastong nutrisyon para sa mga mag-aaral.

Ang lahat ng sariwang ani mula sa Project HARVEST ay direktang inilalaan para sa School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) ng paaralan tulad ng Sariwang Sangkap: Masustansiyang lutuin ang inihahain araw-araw para sa mga mag-aaral. Kalusugan: Target nitong pababain ang bilang ng mga batang kulang sa timbang o undernourished at Edukasyon: Mas madaling makapag-aral ang mga bata kung sila ay busog at malusog.

Naging susi sa tagumpay ang bayanihan ng buong komunidad:
1. Mga G**o at Mag-aaral: Sila ang nagdidilig at nagpapanatili ng kalinisan ng mga plots araw-araw.
2. Mga Magulang: Nagboluntaryo sa pagbubungkal ng lupa at paggawa ng mga pataba.
3. Lokal na Pamahalaan: Nagpaabot ng suporta sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng mga de-kalidad na binhi at kagamitang pang-agrikultura.

Samantala, labis ang tuwa ni Gng. Jeremy R. Gammad, GGP Coordinator ang suporta at sipag na pinamalas ng komunidad.

Ayon naman kay G. Roberto V. Alicum, G**ong-namamahala hindi lamang ito tungkol sa pagpapatubo ng gulay. Isa rin itong praktikal na aralin para sa mga kabataan upang matutunan ang kahalagahan ng pagtatanim, sipag, at wastong nutrisyon habang sila ay bata pa.

Growing Green: Sinippil ES Parents and SPTA Officers Starts Vegetable Planting Drive through PROJECT HARVEST

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY — Demonstrating a strong sense of community and environmental stewardship, the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) officers and parents of Sinippil Elementary School gathered for their routine monthly clean-up drive, seamlessly integrating it with the rollout of PROJECT HARVEST (Helping-hand in Agriculture Resilience through Vegetable production and Engagement of community Service Trade) today.

The Parents and SPTA officers cleared garden area, trimmed overgrown foliage, and managed waste segregation areas around the school, the prepped and cleared dedicated patches within the school grounds for sustainable vegetable gardening.
SPTA officers pledged ongoing physical monitoring and monthly updates to ensure the sustained success of the agricultural plots on gulayan sa paaralan.

“Collaborative partnership builds with a successful vegetable production.” Said Mr. Roberto Alicum, Teacher In-Charge.

SBFP Coordinator Ma’am Rose Mabirit and Gulayan sa Paaralan coordinator Ma’am Jeremy Gammad noted that combining routine maintenance with Project HARVEST transforms ordinary clean-up days into long-term educational and ecological assets for the learners.

Rheniel Lumaban, nagwagi ng 2nd Place sa Northeast District School Press Conference sa Science and Technology Reporting (Filipino-Elementary)

Pinangalanang ikalawang pwesto si Rheniel Lumaban ng Sinippil Elementary School sa kumpetisyon ng Science and Technology Reporting sa kategoryang Filipino-Elementary sa ginanap na District Schools Press Conference (DSPC), Cauayan Northeast District noong Agosto 6, 2026.

Pinatunayan ni Lumaban ang kanyang galing at husay sa paglalahad ng mga impormasyong pang-agham at teknolohiya sa wikang Filipino. Ang kanyang tagumpay sa patimpalak na ito ay nagbigay ng malaking karangalan sa kanyang paaralan sa gitna ng mahigpit na pakikipagtagisan ng mga batang mamamahayag sa distrito ng Northeast.

Samantala, lubos ang galak ng kanyang mga magulang sa nakuhang pwesto. Siya ay isa sa representante ng CNED sa darating na Division Schools Press Conference, Setyembre 12-13, 2026.

PILLARICANS EXTEND HELPING HAND: OLPCC CONDUCTS OUTREACH PROGRAM AT SINIPPIL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

CAUAYAN CITY, ISABELA – In fulfillment of its core mission to foster community transformation, Our Lady of the Pillar College-Cauayan (OLPCC) successfully organized a community outreach program at Sinippil Elementary School last July 31, 2026 (Friday)

The institutional social responsibility initiative directly benefited 55 learners and their parents, providing them with crucial assistance to kickstart their academic year. The project, led by OLPCC outreach coordinators, faculty, and TLE student organization leaders, provided essential care packages to young learners, including educational supplies, candies, and healthy foods such as lugaw with egg.

The outreach program activity took place after class at Sinippil Elementary School. Learners participated eagerly, engaging in a variety of hands-on projects aimed at enhancing their learning experience. Their enthusiasm was evident as they collaborated and exchanged ideas, fostering a sense of community within the school.
Alongside the distribution of goods, the OLPCC team conducted Nutrition Month interactive games and values-formation activities aimed at boosting the children's confidence and promoting community camaraderie.

SINIPPIL ES, INSTALLS CCTV CAMERAS TO BOOST SCHOOL SAFETY

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY – Sinippil Elementary School has officially completed the installation of a comprehensive Closed-Circuit Television (4 CCTV) system across its school grounds today.

The faculty and staff launched the security initiative to prioritize the safety, monitoring, and protection of all learners and faculty members.

Strategically placed cameras now monitor high-traffic areas, including the school gates, main hallways, canteen and perimeter fences. According to school officials, the active surveillance network, act as a strong deterrent to trespassing, vandalism, and bullying, as well as ensure quick response to emergencies.

“It is beneficial to install CCTV in the school so that students and staff feel safer. Additionally, having a surveillance system can deter potential vandalism and provide valuable evidence in case of incidents." said Mr. Alicum.

Parents and local community leaders expressed strong support for the project that the new system provided at peace for the learners during school hours.

The Teacher In-Charge, Roberto Alicum emphasized that the system strictly follows data privacy laws, ensuring that the recorded footage is handled securely and used only for safety and security purposes.

Bayanihan Spirit Shines as Sinippil ES Parents Lead Monthly School Clean-Up Drive

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY — SPTA Officers and Parents of Sinippil Elementary School joined forces today, July 30, 2026, for its monthly school maintenance clean-up drive to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for learners.

The school grounds buzzed with activity early this morning as members of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) arrived equipped with brooms and cutting the grasses, pruning trees, mowing lawns, trimming overgrown bushes, clearing drainage pathways and sorting garbage and clearing stagnant water to prevent mosquito breeding.

Teacher In-Charge, Roberto Alicum expressed immense gratitude for the overwhelming turnout of the community.
"Our monthly clean-up drive proves that education is a collaborative effort. When parents actively care for our school.” said Mr. Alicum

The monthly clean-up event was part of the school's project program. It seeks to eliminate health hazards such as dengue while encouraging shared accountability between the school and the Sinippil community. The school was completely refreshed and ready for the upcoming week of classes, demonstrating the unbreakable spirit of bayanihan.

SINIPPIL ES CELEBRATES NUTRITION MONTH WITH ZERO CLASS DISRUPTIONS

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY — Sinippil Elementary School officially concluded its month-long 2026 National Nutrition Month celebration on Tuesday, with no reported classroom disruptions. Following the guidelines of DepEd Order No. 9 s. In 2026, the school prohibited school-wide parades and non-instructional daytime contests that have traditionally diverted learners' attention away from their studies.

This year's theme is "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!" “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”
The Faculty transitioned from traditional, day-long school events to class-integrated approach. Academic disruptions were completely avoided by incorporating nutrition-themed such as reading tasks, poster-making activities, drawing and coloring vegetables and fruits, as well as scientific discussions, directly into existing subject blocks such as Science, English, and MAPEH.

Meanwhile, the school's feeding program—which provided nutritious meals to learners—was strategically relocated to regular lunch periods within individual classrooms. Parents actively participated and praised the school for keeping children fed, educated, and on track with their academic schedules.

"Every minute of learning is very important," said Teacher In-Charge Roberto V. Alicum. "Through the cooperation of our fellow teachers and cooperative parents, we can achieve the health of ours.”

Aside from classroom integrations, performance task in MAPEH of the learners were achieved. They presented their creative attire on Vegies and Fruits themed after the class.

Sinippil ES Honors July RDNEB Cleanliness Champions

SINIPPIL, CAUAYAN CITY—Sinippil Elementary School awarded a Grade VI pupil, Zyner Ramos, and Ma’am Ella Mae G. Cabello, Teacher I, as the school's cleanest for the month of July 2026 during a special recognition ceremony on Project RDNEB (Region 02 Development: Nurturing Exquisite Behavior), honoring two outstanding individuals who perfectly mirror the month's core value: Cleanliness (Kalinisan) today at the flagpole area.

The awards were given as part of the school's intensified RDNEB campaign, localized discipline initiative aimed at keeping the learning environment clean, healthy, and green.
According to Teacher In-Charge Roberto V. Alicum, this month's winners were chosen based on their daily actions and ability to inspire those around them.

Mrs. Cabello was recognized for exemplary classroom waste segregation and maintaining a clean instructional space. Zyner Ramos, along with a Grade VI learner, received award for organizing daily cleaning drives and encouraging his peers to dispose of trash properly.

Teacher In Charge Roberto Alicum observed a significant reduction in school litter throughout July as a result of the duo's active environmental leadership. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates, setting a high standard of environmental responsibility for every individual.

“Cleanliness is the most important practice that we can do to help the ecosystem," said Mr. Alicum.
