MMDA Launches NCAP Services on the eGovPH Super App

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), has officially launched the MMDA-NCAP Online Violation and Payment System on the eGovPH Super App, making it easier for motorists to check, monitor, and manage traffic violations through a single digital platform.

The ceremonial launch was led by MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes, together with DICT Secretary Henry Aguda, DICT Undersecretary for eGovernment David L. Almirol Jr. and Assistant Secretary Maria Victoria Castro, along with representatives from the private transport network vehicle service (TNVS) sector.

In his welcome remarks, Artes emphasized that the integration supports the national government's ongoing digitalization efforts by bringing essential public services into one accessible application.

“This supports President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s digitalization push for a unified digital platform, where Filipinos can conveniently access various government services in one application,” Artes said.

He also highlighted the growing adoption of MMDA's digital services. According to Artes, the agency's MayHuliKa website has already recorded more than 15 million site visits, over 11 million traffic violations checked, and more than 2.7 million unique users, demonstrating the increasing preference of Filipinos for convenient and accessible online government services.

Artes added that the MMDA remains committed to using technology to make public service more efficient and responsive to the needs of motorists.

For his part, Aguda said the initiative aligns with President Marcos' vision of ensuring that every Filipino benefits from the country's digital transformation.

“Digital services should be faster, more affordable, and more secure. No Filipino should be left behind in all aspects of life,” Aguda said.

He likewise thanked the MMDA for its partnership, noting that the launch represents another significant milestone in the government's broader digital transformation program.

Meanwhile, Almirol shared the continued growth of the eGovPH platform, revealing that the eGovPH Super App has already reached 60 million downloads, 55 million verified users, and 955 million transactions nationwide.

He also credited the successful rollout to the close collaboration between the technical teams of the MMDA and DICT, which worked together for six months to develop and integrate the system.

Government officials assured the public that all transactions conducted through the eGovPH Super App are protected by 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring and encrypted data transmission, ensuring the security of users' personal information and compliance with data privacy standards.

To formally activate the service, the officials participated in a ceremonial button-pressing, symbolizing the official launch of the MMDA-NCAP Online Violation and Payment System within the eGovPH Super App.

With the new integration, motorists can now conveniently verify NCAP apprehension records, view violation details, check payment status, and access related services anytime and anywhere, further strengthening the government's efforts to deliver faster, safer, and more accessible digital services to the public.

Masakit ang tiyan? Sure ka bang tama ang gamot mo diyan?

Filipinos tend to treat “masakit ang tiyan” as one simple problem with one go-to solution. But is it really that simple? A stomachache can mean many things: kabag, pangangasim ng sikmura, constipation, or even cramps. Same stomach, different causes, so when it comes to getting over that belly pain, it’s never a one-size-fits-all answer.
