The storyline is a double-edged sword that emphasizes the importance of freedom, the exploitation of helpless onlookers, and the negative impact of war. It also looks at friendships that sprang out of cruelty and injustice and resulted in selfless love and sacrifice.

It set in Afghanistan during the invasion of Russia. But eventually turn over to the Taliban, who is equally putting fear on the faces of the locals.

It follows a story about two women who were born from different generations. That ended up being married to the same man. Yes! Imagine the clashes and indifference they both show each other. However, it is where that hatred emanates a respect and unconditional love for each other.

So if you will read this book, brace yourself as if you are about to go through an emotional blow when you learn how Mariam, the lead character, selflessly sacrifices something just to save Laila and her son. Your heart will be shattered.

👌👌Becoming👌👌 (review)

I commend Michelle Obama for bending rules without breaking the traditions, defining women’s self-worth and happiness, and defying misogynists. And making her children’s welfare her paramount consideration. On top of it, Michelle fought hard to embed the value of nutrition in every person, society, and institution.

This book chronicled the circumstances that influenced her in becoming a career woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a first lady of the United States (FLOTUS). She gave us a joy ride inside the White House and its perks.

I appreciate how she valued the job of her husband, Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States. As well as one of the many contributions: age discrimination in employment and strengthening the health insurance system.

Read this book with an open mind because then you will see the positive impact she had in writing this book.

Tanong ko lang ha, bakit ung ibang mga Pinoy mahilig mag alaga ng a*o. Dinadala pa sa mall at ang trato parang anak. Pero makita mo ang bahay nila hindi naman yayamanin. Yung iba wala pa ngang parking lot. Yung totoo, Paris Hilton ang peg nyo kung mag alaga kayo ng a*o at dala dala nyo pa sa mall. Stress na stress naman kayo. Siguraduhin nyo lang na kumakain kayo ng maayos ha. Naku! Naku! Ewan ko sa inyo!!
