In an exciting display of high school basketball, St. Clare clinched the win over Villagers Montessori College with a final score of 87โ€“68. The game featured fast-paced action, smart plays, and strong efforts from both sides, making it a thrilling experience for everyone in attendance.

Though VMC fell short this time, the team showed heart, hustle, and growing chemistry โ€” traits that continue to build their foundation for future games.

The Villagers Montessori College Swimming Club continues to make a splash as it actively engages student-athletes in a sport that promotes discipline, endurance, and teamwork. Under the guidance of skilled coaches and the strong support of the VMC community, the Swimming Club serves as a platform for students to enhance their physical fitness, mental resilience, and sportsmanship. The VMC Phoenix men's basketball team showcased incredible grit and determination in their recent matchup against the formidable UST Growling Tigers. While the Tigers ultimately proved too strong, the Phoenix left it all on the court!

The Growling Tigers came out firing, establishing a double-digit lead in the first quarter. However, the VMC Phoenix, undeterred, mounted a spirited comeback in the second quarter. Through sheer effort and determination, they clawed their way back, reducing the deficit to just seven points with a score of 28-21 midway through the quarter.

Despite this valiant effort, UST demonstrated their supremacy, extending their lead to 51-29 by halftime. The second half saw the Tigers ramp up their intensity even further, employing a suffocating full-court press that ultimately led to an 88-46 final score.

Even in defeat, the VMC Phoenix displayed remarkable resilience and fight. Facing an experienced and poised UST squad, our Phoenix truly embodied the spirit of competition. We are incredibly proud of the effort and heart shown by the entire VMC Phoenix team. This game was a testament to their dedication and a valuable learning experience as they continue to rise!
