Mainit ngayon ang usapan tungkol sa 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 — isang proposed law na gustong gawing legal obligation ng mga adult children ang pagsuporta sa kanilang matatanda o may sakit na magulang. May parusa sa mga ‘iiwas’ o ‘magpapabaya.’

Sa isang banda, tama naman — utang na loob, pagmamahal, at respeto sa magulang ay core values nating mga Pinoy. Pero sa kabila nun, may mga anak din na lumaking sugatan, o hirap din sa sarili nilang pamilya.

Ang tanong:
Paano mo babalansehin ang puso at ang kakayahan? 💭

Love should always be the reason — hindi lang dahil sa batas, kundi dahil ‘yun ang natural sa pamilyang may malasakit. ❤️
