So this is just an introduction to this page with a little background and history. The things I say in this may sound bu****it, but I have no gains in lying. This may be lengthy but I would appreciate it if you could finish it.
Way back 2009, I already have the most awesome innovations in music. Here is a list of my achievements:
-The first in the whole world (or probably just in the philippines) to have thought of putting spoken word in music (before Being As An Ocean and BrickCity).
-I am one of the pioneers of mathrock before all of those japanese bands and hipster bands in the west.
-First implemented djent in the philippines (or the principle at least)
Hurray to my achievements. Sadly, NO ONE IS GOING TO BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAID. I'm also a nobody who hasn't proved anything yet. All of the things I said are true except the only tangible evidence that I have is notations/tabs, and a midi program containing it. Whose gonna believe me given that evidence. I didn't have the needed band members and resources for recording my material back then. And as a teenager living in a third world country and afraid of copy right infringement, knowing the constraints I had, I just accepted it without really trying to overcome it. Though because of the baricades, I just dreamt of creating my own record label to cater those artists/bands who have awesome songs and ideas. But still it was just a dream.
As the years pass by, all of my original ideas are produced and released by artists/bands in a first world country. And it's frustrating to see that because you've thought of it years before the release of their work. I'm not saying their work was ugly, it was beautiful but I was just thinking I could've become the real pioneer of the idea if I just had the resources. It even saddens me about the thought of knowing that I am not the only artist with a case like this. "Lack of resources" holding you back.
Back in college, I was asked by my professor how I could see myself 5 years from now. I said probably in my own recording studio or running a record label. It's been roughly 4 years from then and I didn't notice the time since then that I took action to put it in my hands that the lack of resources should not hold me back in doing so.
We are living in a golden age of audio recording that it can be done with minimal equipment and at home. Now the constraints are no longer there. I am not the best in this industry. I am not a veteran. I just like to make songs and hear the finished product. And here I am now, I am equipped (not fully) with the knowledge (I hope so) and resources (little resources) that I need to help out artists/bands. To BRING IDEAS TO LIFE.
I can't promise I will, but I WANT to GIVE LIFE TO YOUR IDEAS. And I will do my very best in doing so.
