Huge congratulations to Sinag Maynila juror Arvin Belarmino on another landmark achievement!

Following the success of his short films Radikals (Semaine de la Critique - Cannes 2024) and Agapito (Festival de Cannes - Short Film Competition 2025, 50th Toronto International Film Festival TIFF, Honourable Mention), Belarmino is taking his directorial journey to new heights as his debut feature film, RIA, prepares for its world premiere at the 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

RIA ROCKS ON IN BUSAN!

Arvin Belarmino's debut feature film 'Ria,' starring Nour Hooshmand as the titular musician striving to protect her punk commune from demolition and corruption, will make its world premiere in the ‘Vision’ section of the 31st Busan International Film Festival this October.

This film follows Belarmino's Cannes shorts 'Radikals' and 'Agapito' made with frequent collaborators Kyla Romero and Kristine de Leon. Sylvia Sanchez, Cedrick Juan, Iana Bernardez, Andre Miguel and Veronica Reyes also star.
